Establishing and monitoring standards for the educational preparation of dietitian practitioners
Recognize educational programs that meet these standards in Canada.
Establish, evaluate, and administer standards, policies, and procedures for dietetic education accreditation, including eligibility for, granting of, periodic renewal of and withdrawal of accreditation.
Independent accreditation board under the umbrella of PDEP
Board will be responsible for conducting the affairs of accreditation
Ensure staffing support
Consultation with all stakeholder groups
