The mother of this calf was purchased by Jay from River Valley Polled Herefords, which he bought to show at Bonanza in 2010 at St. Hyacinthe, Quebec. She is a very quiet show heifer and it looks like this heifer calf will follow in her footsteps.

This calf’s mother is above the breed average in her weaning weight, yearling weight, milk and total maternal. This heifer calf has a lot of depth and volume.

This calf’s sire is a bull that travels well. He is also a bull that produces very good quality uddered females. His milk, total maternal, weaning and yearling weight are all above the breed

This heifer calf is being donated to the Manitoba Junior Hereford Association. All proceeds go to the MJHA to help with Bonanza 2013 in Brandon, MB. Our family has strong roots with the CJHA and MJHA, with Albert and I being participants. Now our children are having a great experience travelling across Canada with the Juniors. This will be the last Bonanza in Manitoba that Jay, Samantha and Levi can participate in together. So this is our way to support the MJHA.

This Tank 10W son has the thickness, bone and herd bull look. His full brother was the first bull to go out of the pen this spring. Certificate of Registration:Each animal will carry papers issued by the CanadianHereford Association. A certificate of registry dulytransferred will be furnished to the buyer for eachanimal after payment has been made.

Health:All animals in the sale have met all necessaryhealth requirements.

Guarantee:Each animal becomes the purchaser’s risk immediatelyafter the animal is sold. All animals in this sale will besold under the terms and guarantees set forth by theCanadian Hereford Association with regard to health,freedom from defects and from both reproductive andspecific genetic unsoundness.

Pregnancy Information:All serviceable age females have been pregnancyexamined by an accredited veterinarian, giving anestimated length of gestation. This estimated gestationperiod shall be used only as a guideline to calving andis not a guarantee of actual service.
