The profiles and details you see are meant to show you what is possible and can bechanged or modified to fit your vision. We look forward to serving you and thank you for yourconsideration.

Welcome to Creative Millwork

PricingPrices are reviewed periodically and subject to change without notice. Written quotes will be honored through their expiration date regardless of pricing in affect at the time of order. Custom orders may require a 50% deposit before we will begin processing the paperwork. If a deposit is required, it will be noted on your proposal.

Placing an Order or Order RevisionsOrders and order revisions are most accurate when faxed. When placing an order please include as much information as possible. Orders will be reviewed by your outside salesperson who will contact you with any questions before processing the paperwork. It is Creative Millwork's preference that all orders and order revisions be placed in writing, but we understand that this is not possible in every situation. Any revisions made to an order that is in progress could incur additional costs and delayed delivery.

Delivery

All deliveries will come on a Creative Millwork truck unless other arrangements have been made such as delivery by UPS for small orders. A delivery charge may be included in your proposal depending on the distance involved and size of the order. For non-account customers, orders less than $1,000 are subject to a $75 delivery charge within the Chicagoland area. Delivery dates and times are subject to availability. We will do our best to deliver your material on the date and time you request.

Will Call

Customer pick-up from our warehouse is available from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Any other pick-up must be arranged with your outside salesperson.

Cancellations

All cancellation requests are required in writing. Orders for millwork that Creative Millwork keeps in stock can be cancelled at any time. Canceling non-stock items (includes all special/custom order parts) will depend on each situation, but in most cases, cannot be cancelled.

It is our privilege to serve you, and we appreciate your cooperation in following our policies.

Do not schedule delivery to the building site until surrounding conditions warrant it. Cement, plaster, joint compounds, and paints must be completely dry. The first, most important steps to be made are protection from moisture and soiling during delivery and storage. All orders received must be inspected within 24 hours after receipt. Notify Creative Millwork immediately if there are any problems or questions. Your salesperson will be happy to assist in these matters. Keep material clean and handle with clean hands and equipment. Store material in a dry, well ventilated area, cover to prevent soiling, but allow for air circulation. Do not subject material to abnormal heat, dryness, humidity or sudden changes in temperature such as forced heat to dry out a building, for prolonged periods of time. All material should be conditioned to the average relative humidity of the locale before installation by the use of humidification systems in winter or dry periods and dehumidification or air conditioning systems in summer or wet periods. Materials should be finished as soon as possible.

Job Site

Make sure materials are kept dry. Remove all handling marks (instruction labels, cross-sand marks, stamps, and defects of exposure to moisture or light) with a thourough final light sanding on all finished or exposed surfaces. Clean thouroughly after sanding to remove all dust and foreign material. Make sure all surfaces are sealed and finished properly. Follow all manufacturers finishing and painting recommendations using products from the same manufacturer or from compatible manufacturers. When finishing the joints where wood parts or glass and wood come together, insure that enough paint or sealer is applied to form a bridged film across voids. This action will minimize moisture penetration through these joints.

Creative Milwork will not be held responsible for any back charges incurred for unauthorized repairs. Any material that contains manufacturers defects must be returned to Creative Millwork to determine if repairs can be made or if the material needs to be replaced.

Finishing

NO MERCHANDISE SHALL BE RETURNED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL FROM CREATIVE MILLWORK. Your outside salesperson will need to be contacted for review prior to scheduling a pick-up. Only stock material that is in resalable condition can be returned for credit. Special order items and custom products CANNOT be returned. Anything that was fabricated in Creative Millwork's shop CANNOT be returned. Stock material that can be returned is subject to a restock fee at Creative Millworks discretion.
