PART I: INTRODUCTION
You want to connect your master data stored in TB.One to
"Decathlon"/to one of the "Decathlon" channels. It is assumed that you
already created master data in TB.One at this point. Basic settings of
TB.One are only mentioned if special settings are
required/recommended for "Decathlon" or if you should check and
possibly extend them.

1 MASTER DATA CREATION
It is very important for channels to receive consistent and complete information. Therefore we strongly
recommend you to maintain your product and article data in TB.One carefully. This manual only deals with the
special features of Decathlon. You can find general information about the TB.One settings in the Basic manual
about TB.One. References in this document may e.g. be "P3-Ch. 4.2" and refer to "Chapter 4.2" of the
document "Part 3: Basic Configuration". The basic manual for TB.One includes the following parts:
PART 1: DEFINITIONS AND PROCESS OVERVIEW
This document defines the terms used in TB.One and shows the software's processes and possibilities.
PART 2: PRELIMINARY CONSIDERATIONS
This document describes best practice approaches for your product data in TB.One. What data does TB.One
process, what data can you provide, how does TB.One "think"?
PART 3: BASIC CONFIGURATION
This part shows what settings you need to configure before you can process your product and order data in
TB.One.
PART 4: MASTER DATA IN TB.ONE
This manual shows the possibilities of master data maintenance in TB.One and explains settings that are
applicable across all interfaces.
PART 4A: MASTER DATA MAINTENANCE IN TB.ONE
Detailed instruction for manual master data maintenance.
PART 4B: MASTER DATA IMPORT VIA CSV
Naming conventions and field descriptions for product and article data via CSV file.
PART 4C: MASTER DATA IMPORT VIA TB.CAT 1.2 /TB.CAT 1.4
Naming conventions and field descriptions for XML files in the Tradebyte standard "TB.Cat".
PART 5: VALUE MAPPING
Instruction for mapping master data recorded in TB.One according to the channel requirements.
PART 6: PROOF OF DATA QUALITY
This manual shows how you can ensure data quality, and how to work with the error list in the SolutionCenter
and the error/status messages of the channel. It also teaches more about the necessary regular "maintenance
work".
PART 7: ORDER PROCESSING IN TB.ONE - OVERVIEW
This manual shows the different options for order processing and order data exchange. It explains the

3 CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CHANNEL
Decathlon is a main channel with sub-channels for the different country platforms. The following channels are
currently available:
CHANNEL SIGN ID
Decathlon Main channel deca 350
Decathlon.de ddeu 353
Decathlon.be debe 351

3.1 WHAT YOU SHOULD DO
§ Send your supplier/access data to your Solution Delivery Manager at Tradebyte.
§ Clarify with the channel which brands you want to use and provide brand logos/keys to the channel if
necessary. If you use the brand control in the TB.One basic data, it is mandatory to fill in the assignment
fields for all brands. (see Product description, p. ).
§ Check your settings for storage facility, export rate, stock reduction and maximum stock as well as
delivery times in the menu "Basic data > Storage > Warehouse settings" (Basic data, p. ; P3-chap.10).
§ A minimum price as well as a minimum and/or a maximum price reduction can be maintained via
"Channels > Decathlon > Settings" if necessary. Please contact Tradebyte if you would like to use this
feature.
§ Assign a component for the short description to your products. This short description is limited to max.
200 characters and provides the channel's so-called "Webcatchline". The name of the component is free
choice. Your Solution Delivery Manager will assign this mandatory component to the "Webcatchline" via
the product text profile. Then your short descriptions will be displayed correctly in the shop.
§ Provide your product data in the language of the respective country channel.
If there is no product data in these languages yet, you need to create the language at "Articles >
18
14
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 11 TRADEBYTE.COM
Translation > Language" before you provide the necessary translations. A separate manual is available
for the so-called translation desktop in TB.One (No.8016). If the data import is used for product
maintenance, an import-key should be defined and mapped in your leading ERP-system immediately.
Then, tell your Solution Delivery Manager which standard and alternative language should be used for
the new channel.
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 12 TRADEBYTE.COM
PART II: BASIC SETTINGS
Allthough you already maintained your master data, the connection to a
new channel requires the check of some basic data and system settings.
Additionally, there is now a new entry in the channel menu where some
adjustments are required.
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 13 TRADEBYTE.COM
4 CHANNEL MENU
After the channel activation by Tradebyte, TB.One displays an entry for the main channel and each booked
sub-channel in the menu "Channels". The first tab "System settings" in "Settings" can not be edited by you,
because changes here might have serious effects. These settings are discussed between you and your
Solution Delivery Manager, who will enter and save the values according to your wishes.
The following menu items should be checked and - if necessary - completed by you:
§ Categories, p.
§ Value mapping, p.
§ Media, p.
§ Product texts, p.

5 BASIC DATA
Switch to the menu "Basic data". Check and add the following settings in the sub menus if needed.
CLASSIFICATION
If needed, adjust cluster and/or internal categories (see Classification, p. ).
PROPERTIES > COMPONENTS/ATTRIBUTES
Check your components and attributes for completeness. For components, add an alternate
designation/translation in the fields "designation" and "key" for specific channels if necessary (see
Components/Attributes, p. ).
BRANDS
Assign your brands to the channel brands or enter an alternative name and/or a channel-specific brand key
(see Brands, p. )
TEMPLATES
If needed, check your title profile and create new templates (see Title profile, p. ).
STORAGE AND STOCK CONFIGURATION
Check your settings for Decathlon in the menu "Basic data > Storage > Warehouse settings" concerning
§ storage facility
§ export ratio
§ stock reduction
§ upper stock limit
§ delivery times
Detailed instructions for configuration and usage can be found in p3-chap.10.1.
To get an overview of the stock quantity currently taken into account for each channel and to assess the
impact of the inventory configurations, hover the mouse over the value in the column "stock" at "Articles >
Article list". This opens a mini-box where the currently calculated stock quantities for each channel are shown.
PRICES
Please check if channel-specific surcharges are/should be configured.
PAYMENT METHOD AND PAYMENT PROVIDER
The possible payment methods are usually created and activated automatically when the channel is activated
on your account. For some channels, the creation of payment methods happens later, when the first order is
received. You can check the different payment methods at "Basic data > Payment > Payment methods".
Payment service providers like PayPal can be created and configured in the menu "Payment service provider".
Payments are handled by Decathlon. When the channel is activated or, at the latest,
when the first order comes in, a payment method with the channel name is created
22
20
18
19
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 15 TRADEBYTE.COM
automatically. For the export to an ERP-system, you can create a freely selectable export
key.
You may define a separate invoice text and credit method for each payment method.
The processing depends on the channel. The payment method chosen by the end
customer is transmitted to TB.One along with the orders.
SHIPPING CONFIGURATION
Activate the required package types for Decathlon in the menu "Basic data > Shipment > Package types" or
create a new package type if needed. Then, switch to the menu "Basic data > Shipment > Shipping types" and
configure the shipping type(s) that you want to use at Decathlon. By default, each article is set to the TB.One
shipping type "DHL default package".
For a single product, it is easiest to define a shipping method via the master article, if you enter your data
manually. If you import your product data, include the information in the import file (see TB.One Basics Part 4b
—CSV import or Part 4c—XML import).
The channel-specific usage is described in the chapter Order processing at Delivery and Documents, p.
).
RETURN INFORMATION
Enter a global and/or a channel-specific return address. For return reasons and states see Returns handling,
p. .
6 IMPORT/EXPORT SETTINGS
MINIMUM PRICES
If required, a minimum price (absolute) and/or minimum and maximum price reduction (in per cent) for
Decathlon can be configured in the respective channel's settings via "Channels > Decathlon > Settings".
Please contact Tradebyte if you would like to use this feature. With a minimum or maximum reduction in place,
TB.One only exports prices to the channel if you also indicate a “Former RP”. If the gross sales price you set for
the article on a specific channel drops below the value specified here, any exports of the article to the channel
are suppressed and an error message is generated in the Error list of the SolutionCenter .
BRAND CONTROL
At "Admin > Export > Channels", you can specify some settings for the export to the channel. If the brand
control is activated, you must fill the assignment fields in the basic data menu for all brands you want to
export to the channel. Otherwise, the export of the article to the channel is suppressed and an error message
is generated in the Error list of the SolutionCenter (see also Brand, p. ).
There also are some channel-specific import and export settings related to orders.
ORDER EXPORT
If you don't use the user interface of TB.One for processing Decathlon orders, but export the orders to your
own system, check if you need to activate additional options for the channel under "Admin > Export >
30 30
32
34
18
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 16 TRADEBYTE.COM
Orders". The order handling between TB.One and the channel is controlled automatically.
Define for which channels you want to activate the automatic order export. You may export all orders or use
the option in a channel-specific way and thus activate or deactivate channels for the order export manually.
By means of the option "Output of export as one file/one file per channel", you may also split the order export
per channel.
OPENTRANS 1.0
If you use the openTRANS format as an export format instead of TB.Order, add the SUPPLIER_PARTY ID and
the channel sign at "Admin > Export > openTRANS 1.0".
MESSAGES TO TB.ONE
The handling of dispatch advices that your system sends to TB.One can be configured under "Admin >
Import > Settings".
In the section "Import dispatch advices" you should specify whether, when importing via a CSV file,
undelivered quantities and positions are left open (partial deliveries) or will automatically be cancelled (stock
cancellation). Please regard that these settings are valid for all channels.
Furthermore, you need to determine whether the package type and ship-code are taken from your system or
are to be filled in by TB.One with the data from the product or the order. To generate ship codes in TB.One,
you either need to have entered the respective interface data at "Basic data > Shipping > Number ranges" or
provide a number range in the channel settings.

PART III: DATA MAINTENANCE FOR
DECATHLON
This section deals with the information you need at your products and
articles to list them at "Decathlon". The description follows the structure
of the product detail view in TB.One, that is the view you receive when
you click on an article name at "Articles > Article list".

7 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The describing information of a product includes product texts, product components and product attributes.
At this tab you enter properties that are identical for all articles of the product. Variant-forming properties (e.g.
size, colour) are entered as variant dimension on the tab "Article list ".
THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS APPLY FOR
DECATHLON:
§ Brand: mandatory
§ Designation: via title configurator, max. 80 characters
§ Special text: not used
§ Description: max. 2,000 characters
§ Search terms: not used
§ Bullet points: not used
§ Components: provide a short description for the "Webcatchline" as mandatory
component
§ Attributes: no mandatory requirements
7.1 BRAND
It is mandatory to to assign a brand. Missing brands can be created at "Basic data > Properties > Brands".
If the brand control at "Admin > Export > Channels" is activated for Decathlon, you need to fill in the
assignment fields at "Basic data > Properties > Brands" for all brands that you want to export to Decathlon,
otherwise the export creates an error message in the Error list of the SolutionCenter .
Do NOT enter the brand in one of the designation fields !
Brands can be included in the product title by using the title configurator.
Decathlon provides a brand list which you must assign your brands to at "Basic data >
Properties > Brands". If you miss a brand you require, please refer to the channel and
request an addition to the list.

Page 19 TRADEBYTE.COM
7.2 DESIGNATION
Please provide the product designation split into common and proper noun. The fields need to be activated
one time at "Admin > System Settings > User Interface".
Please also note your settings in the title configurator. A title profile is automatically created in "Basic data >
Templates > Title profiles" when the channel is activated. The activation happens automatically as well via the
option "Use configurable title" in the channel settings (tab "Product texts"). In the standard settings, the title
profile is applied to all products. The product selection can be changed via the drop down "Assignment
base". As soon as the assignment base has been chosen, you can view all possible values in the assignment
list and assign the available title profiles. You can see a title profile preview below it, which shows you the
outcome for a selected product (not article). There is also a separate manual for the creation of title profiles.
(No.8014).
For Decathlon, the length of the title is limited to 80 characters.
7.3 DESCRIPTION
Each product must be provided with a description text (as detailed and channel-neutral as possible). Do not
include advertising, for example for another online shop. The description text should be written concisely and
as a straight continuous text. It should not include bullets or formatting. Particular mention should be made of
features which are not visible on the media.
For Decathlon, you have the possibility to configure the sorting of the description manually in combination
with further information like the components or the bullet points. To do so, open the tab "Product texts" in the
channel menu "Settings" and activate the checkbox "Use configurable product text". Use the drop-down
menus below to choose an assignment base and select a standard product text profile. Alternatively, you may
choose a separate product text profile for each of the assignment base's values. The product text profiles
themselves can be created and edited at "Basic data > Templates > Product text profiles".
Decathlon limits the length of the description text to 2,000 characters.
Decathlon uses a short description called "webcatchline", which you can provide by
using the product text profile. Please do not exceed the length of 200 characters for the
"webcatchline".
7.4 SEARCH TERMS
Search terms help the customer to find your product. They are either used by the shop directly for the search
on the website or they are collected as SEO so that your products can be found, for example, in a Google
search. Search terms are part of the master data and should therefore be created as generic as possible so
you may use them at any channel that supports search terms. We recommend creating about 5 search terms
that are entered comma-separated into the respective field. Each search term should have a length of up to
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 20 TRADEBYTE.COM
50 characters each. Use meaningful search terms, e.g. synonyms for the common noun. Consider which
search terms a customer may use when one searches for this product.
Search terms are not required for Decathlon.
7.5 BULLET POINTS
Bullet points serve for the fast orientation of the customer in the shop. Choose particular properties and notes
that you didn't store as components. Usually, you create a list of three to eight highlights for each product. A
bullet point should not exceed 5 words as this is the average number of words one can capture at a glance.
Bullet points are not required for Decathlon.
7.6 PRODUCT PROPERTIES - COMPONENTS/ATTRIBUTES
Components may be directly published on a channel in most cases. They are directly promotional so choose
meaningful designations and values.
Assign only those components to the product which are not used for variant creation. Variant dimensions (e.g.
colour) are entered on the tab "Article list " and must not be assigned twice. Recommended default
components are (if applicable for your assortment):
§ Colour (often variant forming)
§ Size (often variant forming), maybe additionally length, width, height and/or dimensions. Sizes are
composed of the country code (e.g. EU, US or UK) and the corresponding size unit. This ensures a clear
allocation.
§ Material (regard Textile Labeling Regulation!), maybe additionally separated in upper material, inner
material etc. The upper material should always be mentioned first. It is recommended to indicate the
percentage of the material (e.g. 100% cotton).
§ Heel height, heel form a.s.
Components can be used in the value mapping . Additionally, you may select them as elements of the title
profile.
The little arrow allows you to display proposal values if one added them at the basic data. Missing component
values can easily be entered and stored at the text field.
Create a component for the short description and assign it to your products. The short
description is limited to 200 characters. The name of this mandatory component is free
choice.
The short description provides the channel's so-called "Webcatchline" via the product
text profile. Your Solution Delivery Manager will create the product text profile and
adjust the channel settings for you.
24
27
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 21 TRADEBYTE.COM
Attributes are usually not visible for end customers and are only used for mapping purposes or as an element
of a title profile. Attributes are often used for filter functions in the shops.
Missing attribute values must be added to the value list in "Basic data > Properties > Attributes".
Recommended standard attributes are (if applicable for your assortment):
§ Season
§ Target group (age and gender mixed, e.g. gents, ladies, boys, girls)
§ Age group (e.g. adult, child, baby)
§ Gender (male, female, unisex)
§ Occasion (e.g. business, festive, leisure)
Check at "Basic data > Properties > Components" (or Attributes) that all the required components and
attributes for your articles are existent. You may use the value lists of the channel at "Channels > Decathlon >
Value mapping" as guidance for the creation of components/attributes. Components and attributes can be
created either manually or by means of data import (see also p3-ch.8.1.1/8.1.2).
Components also provide the possibility to store an alternative designation or a translation of the designation
for foreign-language channels in the designation fields.
8 PRODUCT DATA
On the tab "Product data" you can configure channel-specific product data.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE VALID FOR
DECATHLON:
§ Product number: mandatory for importing your original master data to TB.One
§ Product activation: mandatory for exporting the processed master data to Decathlon.
Set a check on the main channel and the desired sub channels.
§ Category assignment: mandatory for export. Choose the matching channel category
from the drop-down list.
§ Service logos: not used
8.1 PRODUCT NUMBER
The product number is only mandatory if you want to provide products by means of an import. Nevertheless,
we recommend adding unique product numbers for a better overview.
8.2 PRODUCT ACTIVATION
The products eligible for a listing on Decathlon must be enabled in TB.One for the export to the channel.
Products that are not activated for the channel are not included in the export. The activation takes place in the
section "Display on distribution channels" by activating the check-box in front of the channel name or during
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 22 TRADEBYTE.COM
the import.
The activation of a data set for export to the channel takes place in two steps. The
product must be activated here on the "Product data" tab and you must activate the
individual articles that belong to the product. Compared to the product activation which
refers to a channel, the activation of articles at the tab "Article list " affects all
channels and indicates that the article is generally available.
Alternatively, you may use the channel-specific article activation. With this feature, you
can offer individual articles on specific channels only. This might be of interest to you if
you offer plus-size fashion, for example.
Open the tab "Article data" in the product detail view and click on the tab "Channel
activation" in the sub-menu. Use the dropdown to select the channel where you want to
publish some of the articles of the product. Either activate all checkboxes at once and
then exclude some articles or activate only those articles you want to publish and then
save your selection.
For further information on this topic, see the manual "Activation of articles per channel".
The products have to be activated for both the main and sub-channel. Please specify
the appropriate channel sign in an activation via import file.
8.3 CATEGORY ASSIGNMENT
You always have to assign your products to a channel category. Below the activation check-boxes, you can see
a list of all your booked channels with drop-downs for the assignment of categories. Each of these lists was
defined by the respective channel. The designations may vary and some channels require assignments to
more than one classification. In general, channels use the assignments you make to sort your products into
the shop's navigation directly.
In addition to the manual assignment of single products, there are several possibilities to categorise your
products in bulk or automatically.
Information on deactivated channels can be hidden via "Admin > System settings >
User interface". If you need to display a hidden channel to assign primary channel
categories to products, contact your TB.One administrator. This does not affect
assignments via import file.
BULK CATEGORISATION WITH INTERNAL CATEGORIES
If you use your internal categories to assign channel categories, product data and article data (the
corresponding setting can be found at "Admin > Default values" in the section "Data maintenance via internal
24
10
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 23 TRADEBYTE.COM
categories"), you need to add the relevant Decathlon categories to your internal categories at "Basic data >
Classification > Internal categories".
BULK CATEGORISATION WITH CLUSTER
Depending on your configuration for the automatic assignment of categories during the product data import
at "Admin > Import > Settings", you may also need to add channel categories for Decathlon to the cluster
attributes at "Basic data > Classification > Cluster".
If you assign product and article data automatically, you should choose to do so either
via internal categories (recommended for manual entry) or via cluster attributes
(recommended for import). You should also make sure that the assignment does not
lead to inconsistent data. It is recommended to always categorize clusters on their
deepest level. This facilitates categorisation for Decathlon.
LIST OF CHANNEL CATEGORIES AND UPDATES
A complete list of categories available at Decathlon can be found in the channel menu at "Categories". You
can reduce the categories available for selection at the product by marking categories which are not required
as "not assignable". This can simplify product categorisation if several employees are entrusted with data
maintenance. Category lists will be furnished in the respective channel language.
Like any other channel, Decathlon modifies its categories from time to time. Therefore,
you should schedule checking your categories on currentness as a regular maintenance
task. Any major changes will be announced in the InfoCenter in TB.One as well as on
the Website. Outdated categories will be highlighted with a red icon. You then have to
move any affected products to valid categories.
9 ARTICLE INFORMATION
Each product needs at least one article, but most products consist of several similar articles. Those are
products with variants. The articles summed up under a product only differ by a few criteria such as colour or
size, but most of the properties are identical. The differentiating properties are added/shown on the tab
"Article list" in the product detail view.
Each article must be released for sale by flagging each article as ready for sale - the so-called article
activation.

Page 24 TRADEBYTE.COM
FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE VALID FOR
DECATHLON:
§ Variant creation: dependent from the category, size and/or colour most commonly
used, max. 2 dimensions
§ Article activation: mandatory
§ RP: mandatory (gross in €)
§ Former RP: optional, used to generate cross prices
§ Cross prices: use former RP (gross in €)
§ EAN: mandatory
§ Manufacturer's article number: optional
§ Stock: mandatory
§ Pack size: optional
§ Commission group: not used
9.1 VARIANT CREATION
The variant dimensions are registered on the tab "Article list". If you create variants, each article of the product
must have a value in the relevant variant fields. If a product has no variants, you leave the section "Variant
dimensions" empty and only create your article in the lower section of the tab. Don't forget to activate the
articles!
At Decathlon you maintain your variants per category, but mostly via"size" and "colour".
Max. 2 variant dimensions are possible.
9.2 ARTICLE DATA - PRICES AND NUMBERS
Each article contains individual information such as the EAN, the stock and possibly different prices, which
you enter at the tab "Article data".
9.2.1 PRICING
Prices must be set per channel. Thus set the drop-down above the price table to Decathlon. Then enter the
price values in the appropriate fields in the table. Prices are always indicated in channel currency including
VAT (gross prices). Entering the Retail price is mandatory; you fill in the related values in the column "RP".
For Decathlon, so-called "cross prices" are displayed in the shop (as crossed out former prices). For the
calculation of cross prices, Decathlon uses the former retail price. So you enter the values in the column
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 25 TRADEBYTE.COM
"Former RP". Of course, these values have to be higher than the RP to cause cross prices.
Since Decathlon is a channel without commission groups, values in the column "Channel PP" (channel
purchase price) are not needed.
The column "Article PP" is for your information only.
By means of the bulk editing function in the article list (menu "Articles > Article list") you
may also inherit prices from another channel.
The tab "Master article" allows you to add prices more conveniently, especially if you
have many variants within a product and/or many channels. It lists a clearly arranged
table with all booked channels and you can inherit the entered prices to all articles with
just one click.
At the creation of an article, the value-added tax rate is automatically set to "normal".
The value corresponds to the stored value added tax for the channel. If your articles
don't correspond to the standard VAT rate of the particular channel, please contact your
Solution Delivery Manager at Tradebyte.
9.2.2 EAN AND MANUFACTURER'S NUMBER
At the tab "Numbers" you add article information such as the EAN, the manufacturer's article number or any
other second article number ("Article number 2"). A unique article number was already assigned at the
creation of the article.
Please note that EAN-Codes (13-digit) must be absolutely unique. Within one account,
multiple identical codes are not permitted. The validity of the provided EANs is
checked, so valid EAN check digits are essential.
For Decathlon, the EAN is mandatory, the manufacturer's article number is optional.
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 26 TRADEBYTE.COM
9.3 PACK DIMENSIONS AND INTRASTAT
Especially if you also ship abroad, you should enter more information about your articles. This includes the
pack dimensions and the weight as well as the Intrastat category. For many channels those values are
mandatory.
You can facilitate the entry into the user interface of TB.One with two functions: First,
you can create one or more package templates at "Basic data > Shipping > Package
templates" and enter the values for dimensions and weight together by assigning the
template to the article, second, you can use the master article (product detail view - tab
"Master article") to enter the dimensions or a package template for all articles of a
product at the same time. By means of the master article, you may also assign the data
for country of origin and IntraStat category to all articles of the product.
For Decathlon, it is not required to provide pack dimensions or an IntraStat category.

Page 27 TRADEBYTE.COM
10 MEDIA
Like many channels, Decathlon also attaches importance to a detailed presentation of products in the shop.
That's why media files have to be added to products/articles. You can add them in the tab "Media".
FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE VALID FOR
DECATHLON:
§ Please provide images in a commonly used file format such as png or jpg
§ Number: 5 images combined for article and product images possible
§ Size: min. 450 x 450 px, max. 4,500 x 4,5000 px
§ All images have to be provided with a white background
Please regard the distinction between product and article media when managing your media. Media,
showing the characteristics of a variant of the product (e.g. the colour "Blue") are assigned to the
corresponding variant (blue) by means of the check-boxes. If there is no assignment of an image to a variant,
that piece of media is automatically interpreted as product media. Product media in the classic sense are stack
images.
With the option "Do not display" you provoke a cross-channel lock of the relevant medium. To the left of the
actual representation of the medium is a range of symbols allowing you to rearrange, delete or edit the
image.
If the channel has media requirements that your existing media don't meet or that you can't use on any other
channel, you can create a media type specifically for Decathlon in the menu "Basic data > Properties > Media
types".
In the menu "Channels > Decathlon > Settings" - tab "Media" you can define the image types that shall be
excluded from export to Decathlon as well as determine the order in which the remaining ones are displayed.
It makes no difference if you set the export lock for a channel at "Channels > Decathlon
> Settings" - Tab "Media" or at "Basic data > Properties > Media types". The setting will
be applied in each case.
11 VALUE MAPPING
The value mapping at "Channels > Decathlon > Value mapping" takes place after the data maintenance has
been effected, since categories are only displayed when products are assigned to them (see also "Category
assignment, p. ").
Please familiarise yourself as soon as possible with the properties that can be transmitted to the channel and
22
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 28 TRADEBYTE.COM
maintain as many properties as possible at the products/articles. Don't limit yourself to the mandatory
mappings. Any additional information has a promotional effect and makes it easier for customers to find your
products in the webshop.
Mandatory properties of the channel are marked with a warning triangle, transparent warning triangles are
not mandatory for all categories. Language, designation of channel properties and the definition of
mandatory values are the sole responsibility of the channel. Tradebyte has no influence on them. For detailed
instructions regarding the value mapping, see part 5 of the basic documentation.
A list of the values predefined by the channel can be seen by means of the list icon at
the end of a category row. You need to have activated products for Decathlon and
assigned categories in advance. The list also shows what additional information you
may provide to give a more detailed description of your goods.
The mapping for Decathlon takes place on category level. Please note that different
categories may also have different value lists.

PART IV: ORDER MANAGEMENT
This section describes the requirements and the process of the order
processing for "Decathlon". Decide by yourself which interface you want
to use for the exchange of order data with TB.One or whether you prefer
a manual order processing by means of the TB.One user interface.
Please discuss the details with your Solution Delivery Manager at
Tradebyte.

12 ORDER PROCESSING
By now, you've successfully finished the data maintenance and made some basic settings for the order
processing. Before the GoLive on the channel can happen, we provide one or more test orders so that you can
test your order processing thoroughly. Process those orders just as you will do it later with your real orders. Of
course, you don't need to send goods for the test orders.
Independent from this, the channel also could send their own test orders. This will most likely happen when
the data is already registered at the channel system and the approval for the web-shop is imminent. Here, the
shipping of the goods is sometimes required but they will be returned again. If the test order processing is
successful, your goods are approved for the web-shop by the channel.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS ARE VALID FOR
DECATHLON:
§ Incoming order per sub-channel
§ Partial cancellations and partial deliveries on article level
§ Carrier: free choice
§ Delivery slips in package: delivery note, invoice optional, return label mandatory
§ Returns: only via channel
12.1 INCOMING ORDERS
If Decathlon receives orders for your articles, TB.One gets an order file from the channel. An order from
Decathlon is a shipping prompt, so-called "pending orders" are currently not sent by the channel.
Received orders can be found in TB.One under the menu item "Orders > Order list". By default, the list is
filtered for open orders. To see orders of a particular channel, please set the filter "distribution channel"
accordingly.
12.2 ORDER CHANGE/CANCELLATION
If the goods are not in stock, send a cancellation message to Decathlon. You can do this in the detail view of
an order, tab "Delivery & Cancellation".
Decathlon allows partial cancellations and partial deliveries on article level.
12.3 DELIVERY AND DOCUMENTS
Notify the channel of the dispatch on the tab "Delivery & Cancellation". If needed, choose the appropriate
package type and add the matching ship-code for tracking. Save your entries to create the message. At the
next order data transfer, your dispatch advice is sent to the channel. The created message can be seen at the
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 31 TRADEBYTE.COM
tab "Messages & Documents".
In the order list, you can use the button "Create messages" to create dispatch advices
for many orders at once. The button is only visible if the option "Allow mass dispatch
advices in order list" at "Basic data > Storage > Warehouse settings" was activated.
CARRIER AND DELIVERY NOTE
At Decathlon the choice of the carrier is yours. If you want to define a surcharge for one of your shipping types
at Decathlon, you can do this at the menu "Basic data > Prices > Surcharges/Discounts"
Decathlon puts great emphasis on the uniformity of the delivery documents. You should make test prints and
have them checked and approved by Decathlon. If you don't want to use the delivery documents that are
stored in TB.One, you will need to obtain the channel's approval for the documents created by your system.
Text entered in the delivery note section for Decathlon or the sub channels is ignored as
are the additional activatable item options.
For Decathlon, it is optional to provide a delivery note.
INVOICE
You can print invoices for a single order in the detail view of the particular order in the tabs "Consignee &
Positions" and "Package list".
A channel-compliant template is available for invoices, too. It can be complemented
with additional text (see also p3-chap.10.2.1.2/11.2.9).
For Decathlon, it is optional to provide an invoice.
Please note, that you have to upload your invoices to Mirakl as well.
OTHER DOCUMENTS
For Decathlon it is mandatory to provide shipping and return labels.
TB.One needs a stored number range to create them. In this case, defining a return
address at "Basic data > Returns > Return addresses" is a mandatory requirement!
In the menu "Admin > System settings > Documents" you may configure documents such as order data
sheets or pick lists and activate the automatic output of PDF files.
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 32 TRADEBYTE.COM
13 RETURNS HANDLING
Returned goods from a closed order must be recorded as returns in TB.One to guarantee correct accounting.
This is sent to the channel as returns message.
In the order list, set the status filter to "Dispatch Advice" and the channel filter to the respective sub-channel
and locate the appropriate order. On the "Returns" tab, each article of the order is listed individually. Highlight
returned article(s) and optionally enter a return reason and/or a return status.
At the bottom of the screen, select the package type of the return, enter the return code and enable/disable
the other desired options. Save your data to generate the return message. This is transferred to the channel at
the next regular order data exchange .
If you process your orders via the scan desktop, open this, go to the tab "Returns" and scan the order number.
Decathlon doesn't support the partial deduction of reimbursements at faulty return
state. So if you have complaints regarding the condition of the returned goods, please
contact the consultant at the channel.
EFFICIENT RETURNS MANAGEMENT
For efficient returns management, you should create return causes and states in "Basic data > Returns" which
should be selectable in a return message later.
This information is not evaluated by the channel but is only used for your internal statistics.

PART V: USEFUL STUFF
In this section you will find some useful additional information. Check
your data quality before and after you transmitted your data to the
channel. In the chapter "Data exchange times" you can see the schedules
for your data provision to TB.One, in order to achieve a timely data
transfer to the channel.

14 PROOF OF DATA QUALITY
Before you notify the Solution Delivery Manager at Tradebyte about the completion of your data maintenance,
check the quality of your data. Even after a successful GoLive of your products, it is of immense importance to
get an overview of possible loopholes in the channel-specific data maintenance almost every day. Especially
at the creation of new products there is the danger that mandatory attributes of the channel are not fully met
and thus affected products cannot be exported. For checking your data quality, TB.One offers several options
that you should use one after the other.
FILTER IN THE ARTICLE LIST
The article list allows you to check the quality of your data by using filters to search for articles where defined
criteria are missing. Set the filter "distribution channel" to Decathlon if necessary and the filter "active" to "only
activated articles" or "only activated, inventory > 0". Then select further filter criteria.
The filters of the article list are cumulative, i.e. each set filter reduces the list to another
criterion. Use the option "Reset search" in the left sidebar to clear all filters from the list.
TRADEBYTE SOLUTIONCENTER
The Tradebyte SolutionCenter ("Articles > SolutionCenter" or https://solutioncenter.tradebyte.com) displays
a list of all articles that were not exported due to missing or faulty data and provides guides for solving these
errors for Decathlon. To do so, set your filter to Decathlon.
The error messages are assigned to four error cause sections and are evaluated statistically. These channel-
related statistics can be accessed via the SolutionCenter's Dashboard. The error messages help you identify,
revise, or complete faulty sets of data. Once the data match all of Decathlon's specific requirements, they will
be exported successfully.
The dashboard shows in which error section troubleshooting holds the greatest
revenue potential for Decathlon. Additionally, you can directly access step-by-step
guides for solving individual problems by clicking on the respective "Show solution"
button.
Please note that only the first error that occurs during the export of an article is
displayed. The export run is cut off as soon as TB.One records the first error.
For a detailed description of the error list and dashboard, refer to the SolutionCenter
Manual.
ERROR/STATUS MESSAGES OF THE CHANNEL
Via the menu "Channels > Decathlon > Error/Status messages", you can see if your data feeds were processed
3750EN1.5.0 // 03 / 22
Page 35 TRADEBYTE.COM
without errors or not. If necessary, you can download the files to receive a more detailed description of the
error. The error/status messages are sent back by the channel after the feeds sent by TB.One have been
processed. Tradebyte has no influence on content and language.
15 DATA EXCHANGE TIMES
