1. Attention 1.1 About instruction
This instruction suitable for the user or the technicians who operate the
“Centurystar” direct-sublimation heat color development printer.
The instruction mainly introduces the preparation work before installation、the
operating process and the solution of failures.
Make sure to be familiar with the contents in the instruction and pay attention to
some important parts.
Please comply with the instruction in operating.
Please contact our technical department if you have questions
1.2 Attention:
1 Do not put the machine in the following positions:
⑴.Loose ground
⑵.Gradient ground
⑶.Shaky position caused by other machines
⑷.Humidity or with too much dust
⑸.Grounding end of lighting line or telephone line
2 Do not put heavies on the direct sublimation heater; Do not lean or stand by
wall; Do not lay the machine reversedly; Do not plug up the intake; Do not
use the breakage cable; Do not insert or lift the pin with moist hand.
3 Please cut off the power before cleaning the direct sublimation heater and keep
it flat in shipping
4 The earth wire should be the cuprum cable and posting to the ground deeper
than 100 cm

2. Product Introduction
2.1 Brief introduction
The direct-sublimation heat color development printer is the newly product of
Shenyang Zhenxin Digital & Technology CO., Ltd and it operates simply and leave
out procedures (It can be connected with pizzo-electric inkjet printers such as Mutoh、
Roland、Mimaki etc) .The unique techniques of heat color development has applied
for the state patent (Patent NO.20620091806.7) which has settled the non-penetrating
problem in banner-making. It had filled up the vacancy and open up a new direction
of mirror flags. The prints are soft, the color is rich and bright,the effects on double
sides views are wonderful, waterproof and UV resistance.
The tensile strength in front and back of direct-sublimation heater are the same, as a
whole system it works with the main machine at the same time, but does not influence
the normal printing. It heats the both sides of media with infrared radiation so that the
heat is color even. Compared to the traditional heat transfer, direct-sublimation heater
has the following advantage: it does not pollute the media and save cost with high
producing efficiency.

2.3.2 Function
1 Make printed image color sublimated completely
2 Put main machine on the stand and keep it balance

3. Installation
3.1 Installation 3.1.1 For easy to install please keep enough room as the picture below indicated
(The distance from the back of the direct-sublimation heater to the wall should be at
least 50cm)
3.1.2 Installation process
1. Open the package:
1) Choose a position which can afford the weight of the direct-sublimation heater and
make sure the ground is flat
2) Put stand down to make the heater balance and inspect if every components is
unbroken

2. Connect with main machine
2.1 Please lay the machine onto the stand of heater
2.2 Use the bolt to fix them up after adjusting the proper distance, as following
3. Connect the power
① Live wire ② Null wire ③ Earth wire
Notice: The earth wire must be connected because the power is large when working.
Please use an individual breaker.
4. Load the media

4.1 Put media onto bar for feeding fabrics and fix the roller with the blocks
4.2 Load media according to the picture below
Notice: Put fabrics onto bar for feeding fabrics, and then go through main machine up
to bar for taking up fabrics. The distance from the right position of the fabrics to bar
for feeding fabrics and bar for taking up fabrics keep the same line with printing line.
Make sure the side of fabrics passing through the main machine is printing face.
5. Warm-up
Make the machine warm-up to 120 centigrade and can start to work after cool down
naturally

4. Debugging
4.1 Introduction and Adjustment of Digital temperature controller
① The number showed is the actual temperature in the heating care
② The number showed is the set temperature
③ Set up button,you can enter into menu of setting or changing the temperature,
after pressed again it will be back to the same state
④ The position choosing button,with this you can choose the position of the
temperature then set it
⑤ Button of decreasing temperature
⑥ Button of increasing temperature
NOTICE: The extent of decreasing the temperature should within10℃ whenever
temperature is decreased, otherwise it will be damageable to the
temperature controller

4.2 Travel switch
① The travel switch of the bar for balance when feeding fabrics, you can adjust and
control the time of feeding fabrics (by changing the position fitting )
② The travel switch of bar for balance when taking up fabrics, you can adjust and
control the time of feeding fabrics (by changing the position fitting )
4.3 Speed controller
4.3.1 Introduction
①.The number showed is the speed of motor for taking-up fabrics
②.Knob of adjusting the speed
③.Switch of motor 4.3.2Adjustment of speed controller ①.While normal printing: please turn off travel switch power button and turn on the
switch of speed controller. Adjusting the maximum speed of taking-up fabrics ②.When finish printing: Lever up and turn on the travel power button. Adjusting the
speed of taking-up fabrics to be similar with the printing speed e.g. 720 dpi 2 pass we choose the speed of 0.71

5. Circuit
5.1 Breaker Function: For distributing Electric Energy, protecting circuit and Power Supply, which is easily destroyed by overloading , short circuit and deficient voltage .

6.1Connection 6.1.1 Pipe will be found when package of direct dye sublimation heater is open 6.1.2 Use the pipe to connect the air purifier(2-1) with the direct sublimation
heater(2-2)

6.3 Operation 6.3.1 Open the power of air purifier 6.3.2 Adjust the knob to control the strength of suction 6.3.2.1 During the time increasing the temperature of the heating part to fix
temperature please adjusting the knob to the position where strength of suction is weak to help the temperature go up quickly

7.2 Daily maintenance
◆Keep the machine clean(suggest to use 95% alcohol to clean the inside of machine )
Earth wire must be accessed
◆All the power must be cut off when cleaning and servicing the machine
◆Non-operators is not allowed to open the circuit case
◆Do not put your hand on the face of heating parts
◆Turn off all the powers when machine is stopped working and make sure the
temperature has declined to the safe temperature
◆Keep the proper temperature and humidity in the workroom
◆If the voltage is not steady, suggest you to use manostat

8.1 Failure and Solution
1. The bar for taking up fabrics does not take up fabrics: Code Possible reason Solution
1 Switch of taking up media does not turn on
Turn on the switch
2 Screw in the case which is located on the right of lever for balance weight of taking up fabrics is loose
Tighten the screw
