Fluoropolymer coating is the generic term for what is typically referred to as PTFE ( Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene) coating. Fluoropolymer coating can be applied as a liquid spray or a powder coating.

Fluoropolymer coating is useful in a wide variety of applications

PTFE coating is perfect in medical applications since it is not adversely affected by the fluids in the human body. It is the perfect coating for medical instruments that are used to perform a variety of diagnostic or exploratory tests.

Tools that require extreme temperature and chemical resistance are perfect candidates for PTFE coating that is applied in a thin paint-like layer. This fluoropolymer coating is also corrosion resistant, making it perfect for tools that will be used in a variety of environmental conditions.

These products have the highest operating temperature of any Fluoropolymer and have extremely low coefficient of friction, fair abrasion resistance and good chemical resistance.

One of the most popular uses of coatings is for non-stick applications and cookware needed for food grade coatings.

Since 1972, with the introduction of Fluoropolymer coating in America, TMTEFCOT coated studs bolts and nuts are widely used for enhanced

corrosion resistance, permanent thread lubrication and consistently

low applied torque to induced tension (clamping load).

Since then, almost all international petrochemical, oil drilling rigs and

chemical process industries have specified these studs for both

offshore and land based applications.

TMApart from these TEFCOT coated B7 stud, bolts are installed under

sea splash zones and chemical environments with great success.

TM The use of TEFCOT coated bolts is increasing in industrial

applications, offshore, petrochemicals and marine industries due to

their property of withstanding extreme corrosive environments and

providing permanent lubrication over a very wide temperature range.

It is a series technically-advanced coating systems that combines

both chemical and mechanical bonding technologies to provide

superior corrosion protection in temperatures as high as 500°F

(260°C), with full vacuum rating over the entire pH range. Each

coating system—made entirely from 100% PFA making it ideal for

coating complex components. Pin hole free and spark tested at

5 KV. There is no known solvent which can react with this

materials.

FEP offers excellent resistance to a broad range of chemicals and

provides exceptional non-stick properties. It can be formed into

complex shapes and is noted for its ability to retain its shape and

flexibility at extremely low temperatures without stress cracking or

embrittlement. FEP can withstand a maximum operating

temperature of 200° C for most chemical environments
