Albury-Wodonga has progressively developed into a thriving, innovative and fast-growing region for manufacturing and industry.

Located on the border of New South Wales and Victoria, Albury-Wodonga is made up of two cities situated on the banks of the Murray River. When combined as a twin city, Albury-Wodonga is Australia’s 17th largest city with a population of 107,000 residents.

An increasing number of manufacturing and industrial businesses have chosen Albury-Wodonga as their production headquarters because of the natural strengths of the region, its strategic

location, attractive workforce, infrastructure and land availability.

Manufacturing is one of the largest industry sectors in Albury-Wodonga, employing 12.8 per cent of the workforce, and generating more than $685 million annually in value-added activity.

Albury-Wodonga is home to a broad range of industry, from large multi-nationals through to small niche producers, and is underpinned by several strong industries providing a stable base and diversity.

To assist in the regions’ promotional

activities, there is an ongoing need for an up-to-date investment document highlighting the growth and diversity of manufacturing and industrial activity in Albury-Wodonga.

This publication raises awareness of the diverse services provided by the manufacturing and industrial sector locally and contains relevant information for local, national and overseas organisations.

Uniquely located on the national road and rail corridor between Melbourne and Sydney, Logic is a manufacturing, transport and logistics focused employment precinct that caters for large-scale developments of more than three hectares.

Logic is situated 14 kilometres west of Wodonga at the intersection of the Hume Freeway and Murray Valley Highway and adjacent to the Melbourne to Sydney rail line.

This location provides exceptional access to the main transport routes and the ability to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Set on 604 hectares, the site offers a diversity of industrial lot sizes ensuring that the site can cater for a broad range of business types.

Woolworths regional distribution centre is the anchor tenant, along with Border Express and Wodonga TAFE driver training centre. Under construction is a service centre, fatigue management centre and trailer interchange due for completion in mid-2014.
