UP When you drill the hole slightly upwards angle to tap . Make
sure you choose a sugar maple tree. The tree should be 10” in diameter for one tap hole and plastic container.

When you hammer the spile in the maple tree make sure you hammer it deep in because if you don’t it can fall off. The next step is to hang the bucket on the tree so the sap can fall in the bucket.

The next step is to boil the sap that you collected .After you see it turn into the color of regular maple syrup turn the stove off and let it cool off so you wont get burn . After it is all cooled off pour it into your plastic container and your maple syrup is ready
