TRANSCRIPT
Thank you for your interest in the Association of Physicians’ Assistants Anaesthesia Annual Scientific Meeting which will be held in Sheffield, on May 2nd and 3rd 2019,
The host City for the event is the ‘outdoor city’ of Sheffield. Famed for its industry in the 1900’s the City is proud of its history, but the chimney stacks are no more and instead you’ll find a green, modern cityscape set in the stunning backdrop of the Peak District National Park.
This year’s APAA conference will be a change from the usual single day format to include an extra day dedicated to educational sessions. This will be an afternoon of clinical skills stations where participants will be able to partake in a variety of specialty techniques using mannequins and state of the art equipment. This will be followed by a drinks reception and dinner. The Friday will be a conference set in the Cantor lecture theatre, consisting of talks that will be chaired by educators from Sheffield teaching hospitals.
Why not make a weekend of it, and enjoy the alternative spirit of South Yorkshire, with a thriving cultural scene boasting award-winning theatres, festivals, street art and plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy.
We hope you will be joining us in this vibrant and inspiring City in May 2019. We appreciate your continued support, and look forward to seeing you in Sheffield.
