Come pensare l’allestimento di uno spazio come il controverso e mai completato “Palafuksas”, mantenendo la neutralità e variabilità necessarie per una mostra imprevedibile come Geodesign, a cura di Stefano Boeri?Per fare tutto ci vuole un tavolo.Un’unica superficie orizzontale a 65 cm da terra è il paesaggio neutro su cui stanno gli oggetti da esporre. Esso attraversa tutto il piano terra, diventando il riferimento che unifica le geometrie frammentate di un edificio nato per altre funzioni, e inglobando i numerosi pilastri e i collegamenti verticali non utilizzabili (scale mobili, ascensori, rampe), evitando così ogni genere di barriere temporanee.
How to adapt the space of the controversial and still uncompleted “Palafuksas”, remaining sufficiently neutral and variable for an unpredictable exhibition like Geodesign, curated by Stefano Boeri?One horizontal surface, 65 cm high, is the neutral landscape where the different objects are placed. It crosses the whole ground floor, becoming a unifying element for the fragmented geometries of a building designed for other functions, and “swallowing” the many columns and the unusable vertical connections (escalators, elevators, ramps), avoiding any temporary fences.
