2012 Easter Garden Every year Zion has a beautiful display of all kinds of different plants and blooming flowers for our Sunday morning Easter Services. The plants/flowers are usually given in memory of or in honor of someone special to you and/or your family. It is a nice way to recognize your loved ones and to show gratitude for God’s many blessings. The plants are arranged on Saturday at noon. If you can help, please feel free to stop in, and lend a hand. If you would like to donate a lily or other plant: 1. Fill in the form below, by Monday, April 2. A list of plant donors will

be published in the bulletin on Easter Sunday. 2. Order from the Zion Property Committee Plant Fundraiser (check

on-line Friday or stop by info desk Sunday for more details), order from the florist directly, or pick one up at a grocery store. Instruct the florist to put your name on your plant and have them deliver it between 9:00am and 11:00am on Saturday, April 7.

4. IF YOU BRING THE PLANT, REMEMBER TO PUT YOUR NAME ON IT! 5. Pick up your plant after the 10:30 Easter Service or Tuesday, April 10.

On Thursday evening, March 29, about 250 families who rely on the Buffalo Food Shelf will come to Zion for a meal, Easter treats for the kids, and a meal basket including a ham and all the trimmings for an Easter meal. Here's how you can be part of this mission: --donate food items and paper products for the baskets --make a financial contribution to help purchase additional items from Second Harvest --volunteer to greet people, prepare and serve the meal, distribute the baskets, or carry them out for families This project is part of Zion's Social Ministry Committee's ministry to make Zion known as a ‘pillar’ in the city that cares for not only for the congregation, but for everyone in the Buffalo community. Stop at the information desk this morning to contribute or sign up.
