Master Class Performing Arts ~ Auditions
ROALD DAHL’S MATILDA THE MUSICAL!
Auditions for actors and actresses ages 8 to 99 are scheduled for Saturday,
November 9 beginning at 6pm at the Electric City Barn, 400 Craig Street,
Schenectady. Registration begins any time after 5:30pm and auditions will
begin promptly at 6pm. Applicants should come prepared to perform 32
measures of any Broadway song, and complete a dance audition. An
accompanist will be available, please bring appropriate sheet music in order to
audition. NO ACAPELLA Auditions will be permitted.
If cast, you are required to accept or decline your role within 24 hours of the
offer or the role will be recast. A $50 audition fee will be collected at the time
of audition, if cast in the production this fee will be deducted from your
tuition amount. If student is not cast in the production the fee will be returned
within 5-10 business days. Remaining Tuition amount will be due
immediately upon acceptance of your role.
MATILDA the Musical – PRODUCTION INFORMATION

WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST & CREW LACEY ALLEN (ANCESTOR) is a 16 year old at Guilderland High School. Lacey is so happy to be a part of this
production! Previous productions include Hairspray! (Penny), Wonderland (Alice), Seussical (Mayzie), Annie (Lily),
Into The Woods (Stepmother), and Mamma Mia! (Sophie). Lacey would like to thank her very supportive family at
home and at theater!
PHOEBE AMIRAULT (ALICE BEINEKE) is a Freshman at BHBL who loves to play field hockey, lacrosse and practice archery when she is not performing. Favorite previous credits include: LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS
(Ronette) with MCPA; HOW TO SUCCEED IN BUSINESS WITHOUT REALLY TRYING (Secretary), LION
KING JR. (Sarafina) with Park Playhouse; ANNIE GET YOUR GUN (Nellie Oakley) with Schenectady Light Opera; and THE ADDAMS FAMILY (Sailor Ancestor), with Saratoga Children's Theatre. Phoebe also enjoys doing
background acting for Film and TV. Favorite credits include: Bo Burnham's EIGHTH GRADE (MS Student) and
Ben Stiller's ESCAPE AT DANNEMORA (Daughter at King's Wok). Because expressing is the poet’s art she’ll simply say what’s in her heart. Phoebe loves the MCPA family and is thankful to everyone that worked so hard to
make ADDAMS so much fun. She sends hugs to her many teachers, friends and family who always show their
support. Enjoy one normal night!
HAILEY AUSTER (MORTICIA ADDAMS) has performed in numerous Capital District area musicals. Her
favorites include Hairspray (Tracy Turnblad), The Wedding Singer (Linda), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey 2),
Newsies (Medda Larkin), Annie (Lily St. Regis), Suessical (Bird Girl), 13 (Molly), and Mamma Mia (Lisa).She was also thrilled to have the opportunity to perform with many of her MCPA friends as part of the backing choir for the
February 2019 Lincoln Center production of The Scarlet Pimpernel in NYC. She is a freshman at Niskayuna High
School, plays on the JV field hockey team and sings in the choir. She would like to thank her parents for the all the rides to rehearsals and voice lessons, and Andrew, Kelly and all the parent helpers at MCPA for their efforts to put
together these great shows.
MORRIS AUSTER (LURCH ADDAMS) is thrilled to be part of this production of TAF. Previous shows/roles
include Mamma Mia (Harry Bright), Parade (Britt Craig, Luther Rosser and others), High School Musical (Coach
Bolton), Annie (Lt. Ward, Brandeis), Newsies (Snyder) and Hairspray (Mr. Pinky, Harriman Spritzer and others). When he’s not singing with the Ne’imah Choir, running a race, hiking a mountain, or being the Uber for his
daughters, he is the Senior Vice-President/Legislative Counsel for the Medical Society of the State of N.Y. He would
like to thank Andrew, Kelly and the MCPA family for directing his mid-life crisis into song and dance rather than a convertible and an affair. He would like to thank his daughter Hailey for letting him crash her party, his daughter
Abby for tolerating his newfound love for singing show tunes in the car and his wife Martha for managing real life
while he chases his Broadway dreams.
MONIA DAVIS (ANCESTOR) is 8 years old and this is her first appearance at Master Class! Her first role was The
Big Bad Wolf in a school production of the Three Little Pigs. She loves crafting and swimming, singing and dancing.
She is very excited about joining Master Class Performing Arts.
RACHEL DETESTO-MATHIS (ANCESTOR) is thrilled to be making her acting debut with MCPA. She returns
to the stage after a loooooong hiatus, having most recently played Party Guest #8 in The Sound of Music in her high
school senior year play. She would like to thank her family for their support, especially her son Jesse for telling her she was going to be in The Addams Family with him, and not letting her back out. She would like to give a shout-
out to the Amazing Ancestor Moms for truly being amazing. Thank you to Andrew, Kelly, and everyone in MCPA for
being so supportive and helpful. It’s great to be a part of the family!
SHANNON DEYOE (ANCESTOR) is 16 years old and a junior at Guilderland High School. She is excited to be in
her first ever production, and is happy to be starting with Master Class Preforming Arts. Shannon enjoys
Photography and spending time with her dog, Fiona. She would like to thank her family and friends for their support
and encouragement that gave her the confidence to try new things. She looks forward to many more productions with
MCPA.
BELLA DUPONT (MORTICIA ADDAMS) is a junior at Columbia High School who has been participating in
theatrical productions for eight years. Her most recent roles include Winifred Banks (Mary Poppins), Audrey (Little
Shop of Horrors), and the Witch (Into the Woods). She would like to thank Andrew, Kelly and Alexia for always being supportive and giving her the opportunity to play one of her dream roles. She would also like to thank

REBECCA FLINKER (WEDNESDAY ADDAMS) is thrilled to be joining this talented company for her first show with Master Class Performing Arts. Rebecca recently moved to the Capital Region from Western Massachusetts and
has previously performed with Majestic Theater, Amherst Leisure Services, and Black Cat Theater. Favorite roles include Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), and Toby (Sweeney Todd). Rebecca also
currently sings with Albany Pro Musica. ♫ Your support of this performance encourages the creativity and
determination of so many passionate, young artists.
WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST & CREW JENNA WILKINSON (WEDNESDAY ADDAMS) is 17 years old and is thrilled to be a part of her first Master
Class production. Past credits include: Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie Dilmount), Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife),
and The Crucible (Elizabeth Proctor). She was also a choreographer for her school’s drama club production this past
year. Jenna thanks everyone who came out in support of this wonderful cast. Enjoy the show!
TAYLOR WING (ALICE BEINEKE) is so excited to be part of The Addams Family. She was recently Lucille in MCPA’s concert production of Parade and the Witch in SYFI's production of Into the Woods. Before that, the last
production she was in Oklahoma during her senior year of high school, 2014. Before that her notable roles included
The Cat in the Hat (Suessical), Grace (Annie), and Rosie (Bye Bye Birdie). All of these productions were done at King's Kids, a community theatre program based at Calvary United Methodist Church in Latham, NY. Taylor is in
the process of introducing musical theatre back into her life, but has been getting her music fix through writing and
performing original music throughout the Capital Region, including WEXT's Exit Dome of 2018. Taylor would like to thank her family and friends for their consistent support in all she does.

WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST & CREW JARED REED (LUCAS BEINEKE) is excited to make his completely normal return to Theatre and his MCPA
Debut as Lucas "Crazier than You" Beineke. Jared's most recent musical appearance was 2006 as ENSEMBLE (Bye
Bye Birdie). On a regular basis Jared plays the role of BIOLOGIST (Legal Office), TRIVIA HOST (Loch & Quay),
and Hungry Guy #2 (Chinese Takeout). Jared waits for the day when he will play Adaam (Belinda Blinked; The
Musical). Jared would also like you to know he tried his very best, and therefore you should not criticize him.
MORGAN ROGERS (ANCESTOR) begins her second season with MCPA appearing as one of the ghostly
ancestors in The Addams Family. Last season Morgan participated as characters and ensembles in Master Class
Performing Art’s productions of High School Musical as Ripper and as a dance captain, Mamma Mia as Ali, Little Shop of Horrors as Crystal, Annie as Pepper, Newsies as Mike, Wonderland as the Red Knight, and Madagascar as
Gloria. She also performed in Mohon Masque productions of Oklahoma (Fred and Dance Captain), Alice in
Wonderland and Lion King (ensemble for both). Morgan enjoys Ferrara’s Dance Studio where she has been performing in ballet and pointe for ten years combined. She also has experience with tap, jazz, lyrical, and
gymnastics. Morgan works improve her singing skills in both her school and in her community shows.
PAM ROGERS (ANCESTOR) is usually hiding behind the scenes, helping with props, pictures, and fixing man eating plants, or helping at concession. This time she decided to have fun being dead. With encouragement from her
daughter, Morgan, she takes to the stage for the first time since high school. (What is she thinking???) Thank you,
Morgan, for letting her follow your dance lead and experience the fun you have! Thank you, Andrew, for letting us Moms have fun with our kids. Thank you, Kelly, for telling us moms we’re doing great! Thank you MCPA actors for
helping us learn this show. Stage crew... she misses helping you guys! Thanks for all you do! She can’t wait to get
back stage again. This stuff is deadly!!!
ALEX ROUMANIDAKIS (MAL BEINEKE) is a guitar teacher and metal composer/performer with a love of
theater. Previous roles include Princeton; Avenue Q, Lancelot; Spamalot, Rapunzel's Prince; Into the Woods, and Ghost of Christmas Past; A Christmas Carol. He also plays in local metal band Seaspan, which is releasing their
debut album this December. Alex is currently accepting new students.
BENJAMIN STRODL (MAL) is a 13 year old 8th grader at Goff Middle School. His recent stage credits include, Beauty and the Beast (Chip), Elf Jr. (Michael), Hairspray (IQ), Newsies (Les), Annie (Rooster), Little Shop of
Horrors (Seymour), Mamma Mia (Ensemble), and High School Musical (James). He would like to thank Andrew,
Kelly, and everyone else who has helped out for all they’ve done to make this incredible show possible. Without them we wouldn’t be here today. He would also like to thank his parents for driving him to rehearsals and allowing
him to pursue his passion of acting.
CARRIN SWANSON (ANCESTOR) is thrilled to embarrass her children yet again on the stage with MCPA. She made her acting debut in Annie (unfortunately due to an active Order of Protection from the “real” dog she’s unable
to say what part she played or that she was better than her, but she was). She then had a blast as Rosie in Mamma
Mia. She is the Director of the Gerald Levine Center for Memory Care at Loudonville Assisted Living Residence. She is on many committees and involved in many organizations supporting Alzheimer’s Disease and Caregivers for
those living with Dementia. Thanks to everyone at MCPA, especially Andrew, Kelly. and the other Magnificent
Moms, and to her amazing and talented children.
CHLOE TRIMARCHI (ANCESTOR) is a 6 th grader at VA Middle School (Niskayuna). This is her 3rd
production with MCPA, after making her debut as Duffy in December’s production of Annie and joining the cast of Parade in a one-night performance. She loves to dance and has performed in several productions of The Nutcracker
(Northeast Ballet and Moscow Ballet). She dances at Orlando School of Dance and also loves swimming, lacrosse
and playing the flute. She sends lots of love and thanks to her family and friends! SOFIA TRIMARCHI (PUGSLEY ADDAMS) is an 8th grader at Van Antwerp Middle School (Niskayuna). Her
love of theater began at 6 years old when she played Gretl in The Sound of Music at Schenectady Light Opera
Company. Other favorites include Les Miserables (Young Cosette), You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown (Snoopy), and Fun Home (Small Alison, John, Christian u/s, First National Tour). In addition to acting, Sofia loves tap dancing
and all things Harry Potter! Special thanks to Orlando School of Dance and her voice coach, Christina Pizzino-
Catalano. Lots of love and thanks to Mom, Dad, her sister Chloe, and kitty, Nikita Luna von Snugglepants.
BARBARA WENTWORTH (GRANDMA ADDAMS) is a mother of 6 and stepmom of 3 wonderful, intelligent
adult children...grandmother of 22 beauties...wife of a sweet and supportive man...and a med/surg RN. My passion is
family first, caring for others second... and theater next not last. This is my retirement dream, to be in theater! I would love to someday do theater full time! I love to make people feel. Especially to laugh!
WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST & CREW AMELIA FUSS (STUDENT STAGE MANAGER) 16-year-old and a Junior at Shenendehowa High School. This
is Amelia’s sixth show with Master Class Performing Arts. The last three shows Amelia has been part of the MCPA
Junior Academy. The programs she is part of is Stage Manager, Assistant Directing, Sound and Music production.
Amelia has been part of a Dance company performing Ballet and Jazz. Most recently was part of two NY State
Champion Shenendehowa Color Guard Performance teams. Amelia has always loved the performing arts Singing and Acting on stage. She is looking forward to being part of many of the upcoming Master Class Performing Arts
show. Amelia would like to thank her Grandparents and Parents for all the help and support for getting to and from
rehearsals, putting together costumes, and coming to all her shows.
JULIA GOLD (ANCESTOR) is thrilled to be in her first MCPA production. Julia is currently a junior at
Shenendehowa and has been involved in numerous theatrical productions since she was in 3rd grade. Her most
favorite performance to date was playing Ursula in the Little Mermaid. Julia is an avid artist and enjoys designing original characters for on line gaming and illustration. Julia has performed as a lead vocalist and drummer in several
local cover bands. Julia would especially like to thank her sister Jasmine for encouraging her love of music and
theater
GABBRIELLA GREEN (ANCESTOR) is fifteen years old and a sophomore at Columbia High School. Previous
credits include: Newsies (Oscar Delancey), Hairspray the Musical (Shayna) and Seussical the Musical (Wickersham
Brother). In the future Gabby plans on attending Julliard School of Music and being on Broadway. Outside of theatre Gabby loves to sing, do gymnastics and spending time with her family and friends. She hopes you enjoy the show.
LORI GUYER (ANCESTOR) is thrilled to be making her return to the stage after many years. Thanks to her daughter, this is the third production she’s been in since highschool, and will hopefully get the chance to perform
more.
RACHEL GUYER (ANCESTOR) is sixteen years old and a junior at Guilderland High School. Other than theatre, she enjoys dance and being on the youth workshop team at her church. Select credits include: Chorus in Manhattan

MARK HALSEY (UNCLE FESTER) started doing theatre as a way of spending time with his kids. He has
performed A Christmas Carol (Scrooge), Hairspray (Wilbur), Avenue Q (Brian), Disney's Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere), Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka (Grandpa Joe), and Mamma Mia (Sam Carmichael). Mark is also a worship
leader at Immanuel Church in Schodack, a small business owner, and is the head bus driver for the East Greenbush
Schools. His greatest joy comes in watching his kids succeed and strive for greatness in all that they do. Thanks to
my amazing wife Priscilla for giving me the flexibility to pursue this new passion!

WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST & CREW KELLY JAEGER (PRODUCER) is ecstatic to be the Producing Director of Master Class Performing Arts and

Annie, Disney’s Newsies, Seussical, Hairspray, Elf Jr., Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka, Sleepy Hollow the Musical, The Wizard of Oz, Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Aida the Musical and several
others. No, not on stage, but as a stage mom (very similar to Dance Moms, if Andrew was Abby Lee Miller, but not in jail). She would like to thank you for coming to the show and congratulate her beautiful daughter, Zoe Jaeger.
ZOE JAEGER (ANCESTOR) has been performing on stage since she was 6 years old. Besides theatre she loves to
play soccer and to hang out with her friends. She would like to thank Andrew for all his love, support, rides to rehearsal, and DQ. Also, Aunt Naomi and Queenie for always coming to her shows and being so supportive. And
especially her mom for always being there when anyone needed it, but most of all for always standing beside me and
encouraging me to follow my dreams! I wouldn't be where I am today without you! I love you Mom!
ELLIE JENNINGS (PUGSLEY ADDAMS) is ten years old and in the 6th grade at Bethlehem Middle School.
Recently, Ellie was Eeyore in Park Playhouse's Winnie The Pooh. She has also played the role of Molly, in Annie
with Master Class Performing Arts. Other MCPA credits include: The Young Kangaroo in Seussical, Shawanda in Elf the Musical Jr., the Mayor of Munchkinland in the Wizard of Oz, and the crocodile in Peter Pan Jr. She is thrilled to
play the role of Pugsley in the Addams Family. Ellie loves to ride horses and play with her dog Abby. Ellie thanks her
mom, dad, and her brother Jerry for their love and support.
LEAH JOHN (ANCESTOR) is 13 years old and in the 9th grade at Albany High School. She enjoys theatre,
lacrosse, and playing the saxophone. Past stage credits include Specs (Disney’s Newsies), Grace Farrell (Annie), Mrs. Mushnik (Little Shop of Horrors), and Eddie (Mamma Mia). She would like to thank all of her amazing friends
here at MCPA.
KATHRYN LEGASSE (ANCESTOR) does gymnastics. Her most recent shows include The Drowsy Chaperone (ensemble) at Debuts Theatre Company, We Tell The Story Cabaret, Broadway Spectacular Cabaret, A Murdered
Mystery and Other Short Plays, Hairspray (Shelly), Seussical (Wickersham), DreamWorks Madagascar (Kowalski),
Wonderland (White Rabbit), Neswsies, Annie, Little Shop of Horrors, Mamma Mia, and Disney’s High School Musical with Master Class Performing Arts, and Disney's Mary Poppins Jr (Miss Smythe) with Shen Summer Camp.
Kathryn goes to Shen High School and is in the eleventh grade.
MARIANNA LOOMIS (ANCESTOR) is a 10th grade student at Columbia High School. Some of her recent roles include Sharpay in High School Musical (MCPA), Patty Simcox In Grease (SYFI), Newsies ensemble (Park
Playhouse) and Mrs. Corry in Mary Poppins (SYFI).She is very excited to be a part of this production of The
Addams Family. She would like to thank her ancestors for being so supportive of her.
SHARON MALTBIE (ANCESTOR) began her career as a theater mom about 2 years ago. Through the careful
guidance of Kelly and Andrew, she has mastered the art of ticket sales, concession, bargain shopping and even dabbled in set painting. She thought she had her role down pat until her thespian said, “You should audition too, it’ll
be fun”! Sharon would like to thank her son Benjamin for the push to dust off her dance shoes and for putting up
with her dancing and singing around the kitchen. Sharon would also like to thank Andrew, Kelly all of the other Amazing Ancestor Moms who have kept her laughing through it all!
JESSE MATHIS (UNCLE FESTER) is a freshman at Mohonasen High School. He is excited to be performing one
of his dream roles in The Addams Family with a wonderful cast and crew. This is his fifth production with MCPA, and it is his first MCPA show that he is performing in with his Mom. In addition to acting, Jesse likes playing
percussion in his high school marching band, singing in his high school choir and select choir, and taking
Engineering classes. Jesse would like to thank his mother for being in the musical with him, the rest of his family for
supporting him throughout his acting endeavors, his friends and the wonderful cast and crew of Addams for helping
him along the way, and Kelly, Andrew, Alexia, and Amelia for just being amazing!
TARA MCCORMICK-HOSTASH (MORTICIA) is delighted to be working with MCPA. She started whisting at age 2, and produced and performed in many living room theatrical extravaganzas in her youth, much to the delight of her parents,
and the dismay of her siblings, whom she made play roles in every show. Tara made her proper stage debut at age 8 and has
been a teller of stories ever since. She studied Musical Theatre at AMDA in NYC, and is currently a board member on The
Good Cause Theater Company, in Rensselaerville, NY. Tara is also the founder, past president and current secretary of R'ville
Stage Creations, a company focused on bringing theatre in many forms to the hilltowns. Some of Tara's favorite roles have
included Trixie (usherette) in Pittsfield Players' Rocky Horror Show, Matron Mama Morton in Timothy Murphy Playhouse's
Chicago, and Tara (Gilmer) in R'ville Stage Creations' Godspell. Tara's directorial credits include The Addams Family, Suessical, The Wizard of Oz, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Annie, 5 Women Wearing the Same Dress, Cinderella and Arsenic
and Old Lace. She is a member and soloist with The Village Voices in Rensselaerville and recently started a summer theatre
camp for middle and high school students. Tara would like to thank Brian, Frankie and Aurora for their unconditional love.
WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST & CREW ELLA MCDONNELL (ALICE) is a sophomore at Niskayuna High School. She has been in many shows since she
began acting in second grade. Some recent credits include Les Misérables, Little Women, Newsies (Crutchie), Aida,
Elf jr.(Jovie), and Tuck Everlasting (Winnie). She is in two select choirs at her school, and trains at Dance Me School
of dance. Ella would like to thank her parents and brother for their support and would also like to thank all of the the
cast, crew, and production staff who have made this show such a great experience.
CHAD MILLER (LURCH ADDAMS) is a nineteen year old male, who is very thankful for the opportunity to
perform such a wonderful show with such an amazing cast. Other note worthy shows he's been in are "Seussical",
"Newsies", "The Music Man", and many others. He does, in fact, like piña coladas and getting caught in the rain, and spending time with his adorable Service Dog in Training, Riku.
GABRIEL MLETZKO (LUCAS BEINEKE) lives in East Greenbush with his parents, grandmother, three sisters
and one brother, and is an 9th grader at Loudonville Christian School. He and his dad are fans of all things Star Wars and in recent years, Marvel, and spend time together watching the movies and collecting novelty items. Gabriel
spends his free time in the winter playing soccer and spending time with friends at youth group and in the summer he
loves camping, swimming, playing soccer and having friends over. In the past three years he's discovered a love of singing and this Spring ventured into acting. He played Chad in High School Musical in June and Addams Family
will be his second musical!
EMMA O’KANE (ANCESTOR) has a strong musical background and passion for theater, dancing, and singing.
Emma is active in local and regional theater. Regional: “Cat” in The Pinocchio Show. Recent Credits: Cinderella in

RILEY O’KANE (ANCESTOR) has just finished her first National Tour with The Sound of Music where she played the role of Marta Von Trapp. Riley has a strong musical background and passion for theater, dancing, and

(Disney’s High School Musical) all with Master Class Performing Arts. Justin performed in a short play called

NOËL PAUL-LYMAN (WEDNESDAY ADDAMS) is very excited to play the role of Wednesday Addams and it's been a dream role for her to play. Noël's other credits include crystal in Little Shop of Horrors, Miss Hannigan is
Annie, Medda Larkin in Newsies, Tweedle Dee and the White Queen in Wonderland, Ensemble in Mamma Mia, and
so much more. Broadway credits include Lincoln Center's production of The Scarlet Pimpernel in the chorus ensemble. While she is not acting Noël loves to write, draw, and practice ukelele. She would like to thank her family
and friends for being extremely supportive.
CHRISTINE PETTOGRASSO (GRANDMA ADDAMS) is a single mom of three grown children. This is her fourth venture into Musical Theatre. She has often referred to herself as a “frustrated entertainer”, therefore, this new
adventure fits into that desire. She is able to dance and sing. She would like to thank her voice teacher, Bill
Hennings, for expressing his confidence in her ability to embark on this new journey. Thank you to Andrew Higgs
and Kelly Jaeger for providing her this opportunity. A Big shout out to the Joe’s Boys Band for many years of
dancing, fun, and occasionally letting her join them for a song or two. Last, but certainly most important, thank you
to my family and friends for their continued love and support.
FIONA PHELPS (ANCESTOR) is a sophomore at Chatham High School. Some favorite roles include: Elle in
Legally Blonde Jr. (CCYT), Pepper in Annie (Mac-Haydn Theatre), Race in Newsies (Master Class Performing Arts)
and Kendra in 13 the Musical (Upstage Productions). She is a competitive dancer with Columbia Elite Allstars, and a Nationals Tap finalist. Fiona would like to thank Andrew, Kelly, and the entire cast for all their hard work!
