burgh Women’s Clinic on Drake Road in Upper St. Clair, a non�

profit clinic providing free medical services and accurate infor-

ma.on to women and families affected by unplanned pregnan-

cy. This year’s goal is to collect $10,000. Thank you for your

NEWS FOR LIFE � Praying to end abor.on in �

Bridgeville. It costs only $400 to $1500 depending �

on “how far along” a mother is, to abort a baby �

in Pi sburgh. Are you shocked? Over 30,000 �

babies are killed every year in Pennsylvania. Mul.ply that by

the 47 years that abor.on has been legal and the numbers are

staggering. Did you know there is a Planned Parenthood right

in our Bridgeville neighborhood just blocks from Holy Child

Church? �

The Prolife Group of Corpus Chris. Parish will be praying in

front of Planned Parenthood in Bridgeville on Saturday, March

28 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM in the parking lot between Burgh’s

and LaBella Bean. For the sake of the innocent babies, join us!

Help us close down Planned Parenthood in our town. Ques-

on Sunday, March 22 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in front of the

Helping Hands will be sponsoring a �

Simple Soup Meal on Saturday, April 4 at

11:30 AM at St. Barbara social hall follow-

ing the first Saturday of the month Latin

Mass. This year the theme is a little bit dif-

ferent. It will be a Simple Soup Luncheon with proceeds

going to the Washington County food bank serving the

McDonald and surrounding areas.�

Please pull out your recipe of soup, chili and/or stew,

make it and put it in a crock pot and bring it to St. Barbara

social hall between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM on Saturday

April 4.� Also please put your name on the crock pot and

what type of soup, chili or stew is inside. A nice idea is to

share� these delicious recipes with our brothers and sis-

ters by bringing along your recipe. We will have large �

index cards there so others can copy your recipe.��

A Helping Hands member will be at the hall Monday, April

6 between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM for you to retrieve your

crock pot.�

Tickets will be sold after each Mass March 28 and

29.� Cost of ticket will be $5.00 per person.� Keeping in

the manor of a meager Lenten meal; soup, chili and/or

stew, crackers and hot and cold drinks will be served.�

Please help us with our continuous work of helping the

needy in our area and surrounding areas.�

The Eucharis%c Procession to Planned

Parenthood that was cancelled because

of rain has been rescheduled for

Wednesday, March 25, the Feast of the

Annuncia.on of the Lord. Bishop Wal-

tersheid will offer the Holy Sacrifice of

the Mass at Epiphany Church at 7:00 PM

and immediately following Mass we will

process to Planned Parenthood. The ro-

sary will be prayed as we walk and Bish-

op Waltersheid will lead us in prayer in

front of Planned Parenthood. The pro-

cession will return to Epiphany Church

for a short Benedic.on and to repose

the Blessed Sacrament. �
