Church School March 17: Sunday of Orthodoxy No classes. Our Church School Hymnology class students in Grades 1 – 6 will sing during Holy Communion. Please plan to be on time. To accommodate this, the order to receive Holy Communion will be:
1. Choir
2. Church School grades 1 - 6
3. Altar Boys
4. Narthex Servers
5. Chanters
6. Church School Pre-K, Kindergarten and the remainder of Church School
7. Remainder of the Congregation
The children have worked very hard learning hymns to glorify God in His Church.

Parables of Christ
Bible Study Join us for a five-part Bible Study series led by Father Lucas, where we explore the Parables of Christ through presentations and discussion. We will meet on Tuesday evenings at 7pm from March 19 - April 16.
Prayer Readers Needed During the Salutations to the Theotokos on Fridays, March 22, 29 & April 5 at 6:30pm, prayers will be read in front of the icon of Christ and the Theotokos. Volunteers may contact Dean Maniakas or the Cathedral Office if interested.
Confessions by Appointment Father Bill will be available to hear Confessions by appointment on Thursdays during Great Lent (March 21, March 28, April 4, April 11 & April 18) from 4 to 5:20pm. To schedule an appointment, please contact the Cathedral Office: [email protected] or 317-733-3033.
Bookstore Essential books for Great Lent are available in the Holy Trinity Bookstore. Holy Week & Easter is $29, Lenten Liturgies is $29 and Salutations and Akathist Hymn is $22. The Bookstore is open each Sunday following the Divine Services.

AHEPA-DOP District 12 Scholarship
AHEPA-DOP District 12 Foundation will be offering (5) $1,500 dollar scholarships for the year 2019: Three (3) High School graduating senior awards & Two (2) College undergraduate awards. Individuals applying for the scholarship awards are to complete the application form and carefully read all the instructions, rules, and eligibility requirements. Incomplete applications will be disqualified; so make sure all letters of recommendation, transcripts, and essays are submitted along with the application. The deadline for applications is Sunday, March 31, 2019. All applications postmarked after this date will be disqualified. The scholarship can be downloaded at http://www.ahepadopfoundation.org/
Flowers for the Salutations Service
Flowers will be placed next to the icon of the Theotokos for the Salutations Services on Friday evenings, March 22, March 29 & April 5. If anyone is interested in donating these flowers, please contact Sandy in the Cathedral Office at (317) 733-3033. First come, first served.

“Building Our Life In Christ” will be held Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Holy Trinity Cathedral, in Carmel. Registration
and a light breakfast will begin at 9:30 a.m.

The guest speaker will be Paul P. Karos, who has been involved in a variety of ministries in the Orthodox Church for many years.

March Green Tip “Waste not, want not” is a wise idiom to put into practice: 1. Triage your refrigerator and freezer by placing things in front that need to be used soon. 2. Do a waste audit by keeping a list of what food gets tossed. Then, alter your shopping habits. 3. Make a list before shopping to eliminate unneeded impulse purchases. 4. Use leftovers creatively in stews, soups, hashes, and casseroles. 5. Compost your food scraps instead of adding to a landfill.
Holy Friday Youth Retreat Please mark your calendars for the Holy Friday Retreat on April 26. There will be programs for preschool-12th grade students.
Myrrh-Bearers All girls ages 9, 10 and 11 years old are invited to serve as Myrrh-Bearers for the Holy Friday Evening Service on April 26. Practice will be Holy Friday afternoon at 1pm.
