The March 2015 price lists will be circulatedsoon. This bulletin will highlight the changesin the content of the new price lists.

Pneumatic punch for Window Wall &Shopfront is finally available in SouthAfrica

This is an exciting newpunching tool to dramatically improveproductivity as it assists fabricators with the“end-milling” function of up to 31 differentprofiles. This new tools works with both15mm and 25mm glazing leg profiles, i.e.NuKlip & Window Wall and also includes apunch station for our HWW009, mechanicalcorner connector.

EPDM gaskets have been replaced withSEBS gaskets for improved tolerances

Tolerances of EPDM gaskets varyfrom batch to batch and supplier to supplierwhich has proved to be problematic for ourcustomers.

We have gone for a single supplierand SEBS material which has similarcharacteristics to EPDM but with superiortolerances at a better price.

HBS now offers SEBS Gaskets, a completecustom designed gasket range that fits allNuklip; Window Wall; Advantage & Coastalbrands.

For improved identification some productdescriptions have been changed

• Window Wall Hardware has changed to“MULTI-POINT LOCKING HARDWARE”

• HG023 – Patio Door Stop has changed to“SLIDING DOOR STOP”

• EPDM Gaskets has changed to“MISCELLANEOUS GASKETS”

• HK704 – SEBS Triangular has changed to“SASHGASKET”

The description changes are minor butsupport better identification.

New Window Wall profiles

The following new profiles have beendeveloped to further enhance the WindowWall range which allows for a modular typeconstruction in a strip window application.

• AB249 – WW60SP – Split mullion for60mm profiles

• AB250 – WW60 Sill – Bottom sill / jambfor 60mmprofiles

The new profiles are fully integrated into theWindow Wall system. The new Window Wallpunch accommodates the 60mm split mullionto dramatically improve machining time.

New Advantage profiles

The following new profiles have beendeveloped to further enhance the Advantagerange which provides transoms that matchthe equivalent size mullions.

• AB5057 – 152mm Transom• AB5058 – 122mm Transom• AB5059 – 200mm Mullion

EHT system has been discontinued

Minimum order quantities of the plasticconnectors exceed our annual sales and hasbecome a distraction from our core business.Our core business is offering brandedaluminium systems, the EHT system is notpart of our core business and has thereforebeen discontinued.

The following items are available onlywhile stock lasts

• HA202 – Multi slider flush lock• HG009 – Patio door roller• HU022 – Shower door rollers

These items will be available for sale fromeach branch until stock lasts as they nolonger form part of any specific HBS system.
