What does “reveal” mean? – To show something that’s been hidden.

What’s the differenceBetween saying
“I’m sorry” and
“Please forgive me”
“I’m sorry” is what we Say when we make a
mistake or do something accidentally.
“Please forgive me” is what we say when we have done something
wrong (sinned)
It’s okay when we say, “I’m Sorry” even when we really mean “please
forgive me.” But it’s important to
understand difference.
How should we respond when someone tells us
they are sorry or asks us to forgive them?
Because of Jesus, God forgives us, so we are to forgive others. We often say “it’s okay” to let the
person know that we forgive them.
Let’s PlayA Game!
(Mom & Dad can play too)
See if you can think of
5 things you might do that you’d have to say, “I’m sorry” for (like accidentally spilling your
water on the dinner table) 5 things you might do that you’d have to say,
“please forgive me” (like talking back to your mom or dad)
5 things someone might say “I’m sorry” to you for (like accidentally breaking your toy while
playing with it) 5 things someone might say “please forgive me”
to you for (like calling you a bad name)
Let’s Pray
God, please forgive me for the stuff I do that makes You sad. For the times I’m mean or lie or cheat.
Thank You for always forgiving me and helping me stay away from the
things that do not please you.Amen
