CADETS
Today we celebrate with our Cadets and

refreshments in the Fellowship Hall after

counselors and those who help each week
volunteering their time to the Cadet

moment to thank a Counselor and
encourage a Cadet.

singing favorite children's songs
suggested by our congregation. Be sure
to invite your friends and family.

PRAYER REQUESTS
CHURCH FAMILY
Be in prayer for those who are mourning. Gary Bos’s sister-in-law recently passed away, and Herb Potts lost a very dear friend, Homer Fontaine. Pray that they will both be given peace and comfort. Pray for all those who are healing from recent surgeries. Please continue to pray for Emily Flikkema – that her knee will heal and be strong enough to allow her to walk normally again. Thank you for your prayers for Sheila Heidema. She will have another MRI in 3 weeks. Give thanks that her recent treatment went very well. Please pray for the women in our church who are expecting; pray for good health and that the pregnancies will go smoothly. Pray for health and strength for Chip Kamerman and Gary Bos. Rob & Julie Hager thank you for your faithful and continued prayers. Pray for strength and wisdom as they deal with Rob’s health. Remember to pray for all our senior church members who are living in various retirement homes: Ethel Dykstra, Grace Douma, Jerita Andriesen, and Joan Van Dyk (in Personal Care at the Churchill Retirement Home), Alice Van Dyken (at Spring Meadows Assisted Living), and Lila Douglas (in her home at 8074 Churchill Rd.). Please pray for our part-time staff: Jim & Bonnie Potts, Deb Flikkema, Jana Van Dam, Kathy Eekhoff, Lisa Heidema, and Robert Poelman. Pray for Kyle De Boer and his duties as Youth Director.
Keep Pastor Tim and Heidi in your prayers as they minister with us. Be in prayer for our Council members.
EXTENDED CHURCH FAMILY &
COMMUNITY
Give thanks that Andy Van Dyken received news that he is cancer-free! Pray for him and his doctors as they decide on how to treat some concerns with his knee. Dean and Roz’s brother-in-law, Jerry Jacobsen, has been diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer which has spread to other organs. Jerry is the grandpa of the little twin girls who were carried by Libby for his daughter, Lyndsey. Please pray for Jerry and his family. Prayer is requested for Stan Droge, who suffered a fall at home and is now doing physical therapy at Bridger Rehab & Care Community in Bozeman. Pray that his health would improve. From Steve and Jennifer Sofie: One of Steve’s cousins, whose name is Rob, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Please pray for him and his family. Also, an update on Michael Coulson - he had an MRI recently and his brain tumor has not grown or spread in the past 2 months! This is fabulous news. He just finished daily radiation and also immune therapy. Please keep praying for their family as it will take a miracle to cure this. Be in prayer for Jonathan and Samuel Bennett as they serve in the military.
DO YOU HAVE AN UPDATE FOR THE PRAYER LIST?
Call the office at 282-7442, your district elder, or John and Eileen Scheffer 388-3032
SUPPORTED MISSIONARIES &
THE GLOBAL CHURCH
Be in prayer for Mark Eekhoff as he was able to serve with a crisis response team in Mozambique in the aftermath of a disastrous cyclone. He flew down there this past Wednesday to help with distributing tarps, food, water purifiers and other materials to help the people there. Mark also was asked to get some photos and video footage of the area to help others see how they may be able to help long-term. Gary Schipper asks us to pray for “the transition process as I meet with my closest co-worker, Rev. Luis Pellecer, as I pass on to him a significant part of my TLT ministry. This transition will occur over the next two years as I move from 15-18 trips a year down to 4-5. Luis has much experience with TLT and I celebrate this milestone. His position will include connecting with over 150 "multiplying trainers" in 14 countries in Latin America. Luis will plan and train with them, celebrate graduations and further enable these leaders to continue to effectively spread these transformational series of courses to thousands of additional churches. Pray for Luis and for this transition process.” Pray for Sosthene and Kara Maletoungou as they settle back into their life in West Africa. They are thankful for God’s protection and for good health. They request prayer for the financial provision for the remaining $45,660 towards their regular fundraising goal. See their update in the Belltower. Continue to pray for Kurtis Schutter. He asks: “Please pray for wisdom and clarity
as I step into the role of the Amsterdam International City leader. I am excited for this new opportunity and recognize even more my need to pray and fix my eyes on Jesus.” Pray for Lauren and Connie Runia and their work in translation for Wycliffe. Pray that God will use the recorded New Testaments and Scripture videos in a powerful way. Be in prayer for Daryl and Carol Van Dyken and their work with TWR. Remember to pray for Will and Dorothea Kirkendall as she works as Prayer Coordinator for Wycliffe. Pray for Chaplain Randy Jones. He asks for prayer as he plans the law enforcement Easter service. Please pray that all the details will come together and that the officers will attend and will be open to the Gospel.
