Ever wish you were one of those people who was disciplined enough to empty their pocket change every night, save it for the year and then in December realize a “spare change windfall” of $500-600 to splurge with on Christmas? But, alas, you’re a debit / credit card user and rarely have change (or it gets spent too easily.) Well, here’s a way you can make your debit / credit cards work for you through a rounding up program managed through the Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma. “Mustard Seed” will round up your card purchases to the nearest dollar and will donate the “spare change” to our church. In 2017 we will apply all Mustard Seed donations to the Journey of Faith campaign. The Mustard Seed program allows you to set a monthly maximum amount, opt out whenever you like, track your donations, etc. Several of our church mem- bers are already using it. If you would like more information on it, go to “mustardseedapp.org” and read all about it. You can sign up there or go to your app store on your phone and download the free app there. Several Baptist ministries like the Baptist Homes for Children, OBU and others are benefitting from this unique way to give and we believe it could be an easy way for you to make that extra $5-10 monthly gift to our debt reduction...without even having to think about it. If you still have questions after you have visited the website, feel free to ask a staff member about it. We are always looking for additional volunteers who are willing to work a First Kids rotation. The more workers we have the fewer & shorter the shifts will need to be. If you didn’t sign a volunteer card already and would be willing to serve, please contact Sheree Jordan or Anni Nix. We want to extend an invitation to you to join us at FBC Skiatook on Friday & Saturday, February 10th & 11th, for a free marriage conference. The Mingling of Souls will be live streamed to our sanctuary from the First Bap-tist Church in Houston, Tx. on Friday night and Saturday morning. Leading this conference will be Matt and Lauren Chandler from The Village Church. If you would like more insight on the Chandlers and the conference, we encourage you to go online to the link below and watch a 6 minute video to hear their story about their marriage!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dmYrh8vsyw&feature=youtu.be REGISTER NOW! The conference is provided by the church and free to you, but pre-registration is required as we need to know how many to expect in order to purchase our live stream and prepare for the crowd. To register for the conference you can sign the sheet at the Welcome Center or go to fbcskiatook.com and click the Men’s Ministry page under the Ministries tab. For more information see Landon Warren or Bro. Heath.

Living Generously: Giving Our First

& Best to God

This series follows the story of a family which will be portrayed in weekly video segments in small groups and in short clips used with the sermon series. For that reason, adult & youth small groups will meet together in a larger group for the opening 10 minutes each Sunday for the 5 weeks of the series. Youth & Adult small groups who meet at the South Campus will meet in the SC sanctuary at 9:00 am and small groups who meet at the WRC will

meet in the sanctuary there at 9:00 am .

THE VIDEO WILL START PROMPTLY AT 9:05 AND THEN YOU WILL GO BACK TO SMALL GROUPS AT 9:15.

NOTE: The JOF loan balance has not changed for several weeks due to the fact that the loan was refinanced at the end of November 2016 with the Baptist Foundation of Ok. The first monthly payment will be at the end of January along with any additional payments from any 2016 carry over, which we will not know until the 2016 books close January 31. A new balance will be pub-

lished at that time. In the meantime, look inside for ways you can help us reduce this debt in 2017.

> Childcare during the service for birth thru 4 years old > Dessert & coffee fellowship after the service

THE FULL “SUNDAY MORNING” EXPERIENCE ON SUNDAY NIGHT If you missed your Sunday morning small group because you were sick or out of town; or maybe you simply can’t come on Sunday

mornings, you can still get “the small group experience” at 5:30 pm at the WRC and then stick around for worship experience at 6:30 pm

and the dessert fellowship that follows. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

Even if you were at church on Sunday morning, you’re welcome to come back for a second dose AND the great fellowship with those you

missed seeing at the morning gatherings.

TODAY IS A FIFTH SUNDAY Five times in 2017 (January, April, July, October & December) we will have a 5th Sunday and on these days we are asking our members to prayerfully consider bring-ing an offering above their regular tithe to

designate to the Journey of Faith debt reduction. Please pray about these special opportunities and join us as we trust God to help us retire the church debt in 2017.
