Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Track and monitor flow of all documents from inception to final distribution

Lead efforts to create, document, maintain and manage standards and procedures Provide quality assurance checks for all documents

Control Inventory and Asset creation set-up in Epicor

Create marketing and internal spec sheets on Assets and Inventory

Participate in evaluation groups for retention of Inventory and Assets

Education and Experience:

Requires a Bachelors Degree

Five Years of mechanical design/drafting/detailing experience

Data management system administration experience

A strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Products.

J ob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Provide design services for Tait/FTSI automated electrical systems.

Maintain engineering standards and practices

Interface and coordinate with all departments throughout the design/ build phases.

Maintain design processes, documentation and drafting standards




Verification of client specifications in order to meet or exceed client specifications.

Manage manufacturing and purchasing databases throughout the design process.

Perform electrical design, engineering, documentation, and drafting/modeling duties for each of the following:

revisions to existing stock products, production of new equipment, design of test fixtures, and facility interface

designs to accommodate equipment.

Perform calculations to provide engineering analyses of electrical loads and requirements as it pertains to electric

design.

Perform optimization and value engineering reviews of both existing and new equipment for improvements in

manufacturing cost and efficacy. Prepare bills of materials for finished electrical assemblies and assist in the

procurement of outside vendor parts and services.

Create physical testing criteria of equipment and coordinate expected and actual results analyses with fabrication

and testing personnel.

Assist in the creation of finished electrical assembly and fabrication drawings, O&M manuals and final client

submittal packages.

Research and specify components from industry manufacturers for electrical designs.

Provide data for the creation of project quotations, budgets and final cost analyses. Continue to expand our application of emerging technologies for the purpose of designing and producing leading

edge controls technology.

Other engineering duties as required by the demands of special and custom projects

Requires a Bachelors Degree

Three plus years experience using AutoCAD 2000 or higher in a professional full-time setting to create electricalschematics, preferably with AutoCAD Electrical or Eplan. Additional experience with a 3D modeling program (i.e.

Inventor, SolidWorks) and AutoCAD Mechanical Desktop would be a benefit. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products and must have strong understanding of Microsoft Windows

Operating systems.

Must be self-motivated and be able to work unsupervised and be able to multi-task and prioritize work.

Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team with engineering and technical staff, work withindeadlines and adjust personal schedule as required and the ability to create and maintain a positive relationshipwith departments and clients are all important.

Ability to be a creative thinker; willingness to try new approaches to job.

Familiarity with UL 508A, NFPA 70/NEC as well as variety of standards, code and regulations required for theapplication of cutting edge controls technology in the entertainment industry a plus
