Marco Mengoni

Marco Mengoni was born 25th December 1988.He is an Italian singer/songwriter. He was inspired and influenced by The Beatles, Michael Jackson and Renato Zero.He became known and famous after he won the third season of X-Factor Italy in 2009.

He then debut with an extended play and single Dove Si Vola, nominated Italian Top Digital Download. His music is a pop/rock and pop

genre. He positioned third in the 60th Sanremo Festival, followed by it first album certified gold by the Federation of the Italian Music Industry.Marco Mengoni received vary awards like the MTV Music Award of European Best Act and nine MTV Italian Music Awards.

I really like this artist for several reasons:Firstly I like a pop music, so he appears as my genre and style of music. As he is a songwriter and singers I really enjoy the meaning the lyrics and the beat of the songs.His videos are simple but of impact, they don’t appear to follow the trends but they mainly tell story, involving different theme and characters. He make clear who composed the song without emphasising too much on himself. He can speak three different languages and this makes this artist really skilled and talented and also he cares a lot about his fans.

He is a true artist as he presented him self as he really is, that why he is one of my favourite artists.

Unfortunately I have never been to one of its concert as I am always at school, but I sure they are fantastic.

These are some of his best albums. Some of the latest are Pronto a correre and Parole in circolo, those were produced in Spanish language and Distributed all over Spain. Marco Mengoni has made singles in English, Italian and Spanish.He also has work with famous singers and songwriter for example Sia.
