Phillips Collection (October 2014 market) Worked with lead designer to complete showroom set-up; served as a temporary market assistant during Furniture Market, and assisted with anything from greeting customers, administrative duties, to finalizing and processing sales orders for customers. Compose color ways and arrange to work with screens while also working with the pattern and having to create multiple color combinations of up to 15 colors and have them visually appeal and work together with the dark to light rule of thumb and the way the pattern arrangement effects which color and which part of the design so it all coordinates and follows the rules; arranging GAMS light to dark; coordinate strike-offs and all color changes (i.e. weight, cast, color corrections) with TSO and finalize each color way for production.● Also, put together fabric combinations and marketing packages for the sales reps and show reps how to coordinate different fabrics from the line and pair them and show multiple ways to coordinate each fabric, providing options for customers and creating a story for the customer for each for visual presentation at High-Points semi-annual fabric market, Showtime.● Sit in on Showtime appointments / get customer feedback and suggestions based on their opinion of the line and collect what they would like to see in the next line ( evaluation and data also helps determine what fabric may need to be dropped or change color way or Greige good / base of the fabric); Document and communicate/ follow-up with reps and make sure to send them all special requests from accounts and sent to each rep while also putting these requests into the TSO list to have the special sample striked off for the rep to get to the right account.● Attend product development meetings and discuss feedback, ideas and new concepts for the next line to meet the needs and demands and suggestions of what customers would like to see more or less of and what they did and didn't like
