Mr B’s Mountain Climbing Madness
My love of the mountains has taken me from Maricourt to Keswick in the Lake District, as I didn’t get the opportunity to say good bye to all of you, here’s my chance with a little mountain climbing challenge.
Keswick’s local mountain is Skiddaw, for the Geographers amongst you it is made of sedimentary rock and is 931m high, but this is not Mr Naughton’s lesson so on with the PE!!
THE CHALLENGE:

THE CRUNCH CHALLENGEHow to perform a

▪ Lie down on your back. Plant your feet on the floor, hip-width apart.
▪ Bend your knees and place your arms across your chest. Contract your abs and inhale.
▪ Exhale and lift your upper body, keeping your head and neck relaxed.
▪ Inhale and return to the starting position.

Dance like nobody's watching. Or dance like it's going viral. Dancing at home on your own or together as a family is one way to keep healthy
and happy! Any time – lockdown or not – having regular physical activity is a really crucial part of looking after our physical health and our
mental health. Try learning a TikTok dance this week. I have successfully completed the ‘Blinding Lights’ dance with my whole family, this took lots of practice because most of my family are footballers
not dancers!Go on and give it a go…your challenge is to learn a TikTok dance! I
have put some ideas on here for you. Most dances are on YouTube or on the TikTok App. Or you can just find the music and have a dance.
How to learn a TikTok Dance:Some TikTok dances have online tutorials, or you can simply find the dance you want to learn and watch the video over and over again until you have learnt it.But the best way to learn a more complicated dance is by "practicing" it first as a "Duet" in TikTok.Follow these steps:When you are on a dance video that you wish to learn, tap the arrow icon as if you were going to share it.Tap "Duet."Slow the video down and practice alongside the original video.Don't share these outtakes! Delete all that nonsense.Once you have mastered the dance, go create your TikTok using the "Sound" for that dance.

How to: Start in high plank position. Lift left foot up off floor and drive toward left elbow while keeping hips level and back flat. With control, reverse movement and return to start. Swap legs.
