  • 1. MARIE ANTOINETTEFor our shoot we were given the Marie Antoinette film that was released in 2006. Marie Antoinette was queen of France from 1774 to 1792. She was notorious for her extravagant spending when it came to fashion and beauty. She loved the expensive lifestyle.

2. Group Members Erin Stubbs, Rochelle Bulloch, Jessie Wilson, Lucy Cade, Georgina Atkinson, Sasha Humeniuk, Song Qi. We worked together during this project and we didnt have set roles, although each of us took preference in a certain area: We will explain our roles further during the presentation. 3. Our chosen lookWe bought this corset from a charity shop it cost 4.00 and fits in really well with previous Marie Antoinette style shoots magazines such as: The colour scheme for this particular look was pastel based, and vogue has highly elegant. We chose to shoot the pink corset against the completed. dark wood to create a contrast between youth (the pink corset) and antique (dark wood window cill). 4. By shooting our model outside we were able to contrast the constraints of royal life against nature and freedom (being outside)This mostly black look represents oppression, and the Burdon that Marie felt during the film, having been handed so much responsibility at such a young age. The white chiffon blouse represents the little innocence she has left. 5. This room was bright and more fun. It represented youth and gave of a party style vibe. By having the chandelier cowering above our model we were able to convey how royal life overcame her. We chose the bright orange tweed shift dress for the shots taken in this room. It was youthful in comparison to the other items we had used.We also added a heavy jewel necklace as a reminder she was still royal. 6. We bought the blouse shown in these photographs from a charity shop, the lace and frilly sleeves complimented the pea coloured room we chose to shoot in. The long skirt fitted in well with the ambience of the room and showed off her figure. Marie Antoinettes style was all about showing off her curves and I think we accomplished this in the styling. The long skirt fitted in well with the ambience of the room and showed off her figure. The reason we decided to put these items together was because the bralet was very relevant to the theme. It emphasized her breasts. Despite the contrast in colours and textures of materials , the compliment each other creating a sophisticated and elegant end result. The skirt is very short and almost child like, it poofs out and shows off her curves. But the length makes it flirtatious and adds the modern twist. 8. Location We used Townley Hall in Burnley for our photoshoot. We thought it was most appropriate as they have many different rooms we were able to use. Here are some images: 9. Behind The ScenesHere are some images from behind the scenes. Each of us will explain about our roles further: 10. Magazines We discussed what type of magazine our fashion spread would appear in: High end Harpers Bazaar Vogue This is due to wanting to reinforce the theme of elegance and high class. Our clothing consists of high end fashion designs. Annie Leibovitz done a shoot for Vogue based on this film. 11. Final Images
