Description

The Marine Emergency Long Wire Antenna is a 10m Kevlar cored radiating wire, with a 10m weighted

length of cord attached, to ease throwing over a raised

feature (e.g. Mast ). The antenna is not tuned and is primarily designed to work in conjunction with popular brands of HF antenna tuners. Just clip the alligator clip to the insulated terminal on the top of your tuner, and away you go. This product light weight and is perfect as an emergency antenna for "Survey" requirements

Notes

The throw cord is fixed to the Kevlar wire via an insulator. The throw cord is

tied to the throw weight.

The Kevlar wire is a copper braid with a Kevlar fibre core in the centre and a

military green PVC insulating sheath on the outer.
