Conventional means for cleaning LO on

Diesel Engines have for decades relied on the

amplification of centrifugal forces, the one

parameter in Stokes law, which is easy to

alter. However, this requires equipment,

which has increased in complexity, and which

usually requires heating of the lubrication oil.

This process creates sludge, and the lost oil

has to be replaced. And despite being

automated, it still requires maintenance and

monitoring. Not to mention spare parts. And

control air. And water. And sludgetank. And

steam. Or electrical power. And competent

crews.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a simple piece

of equipment, which can maintain the oil

quality?

A CJC™ Oil Filter removes all particles

according to the filtration rating, regardless

of density and temperature. It is basic in the

design, operation and maintenance. And in

comparison, it is cheap in operation, despite

having consumables (filter inserts).

Return of Investment And, if you don’t have steam for free, you

gain a positive ROI within 12-18 months or

less, depending on vessel type!

Trunk Engines and

Crosshead engines There are many variables in engine

designs, operation, load pattern and

fuel types. Thus a solution requires a

flexible design. CJC™ Oil Filters can

provide this flexibility as a result of

the modular design. And the

extensive knowledge integrated into

our unique CJC™ Filter Inserts which

has been compiled over 60 years.

From Complex to Simple & Flexible

The Simple & Flexible Solution We have several solutions available, standard solutions which are well

proven. And our new CJC™ Marine Lube Oil Purifier.

The LO Purifier is simple to maintain with flexible features. By integrating

a frequency converter into a PLC control, we can eliminate the need for

any heating. This can potentially generate large savings, especially on

large sump reservoirs/cross head engines. Besides, it’s beneficial to the

oil.
