Whales

• Whales have a blowhole. A blowhole is for breathing air.

Dolphins

• Dolphins live in pods. Pods are a group of dolphins.

• Dolphins playfight and jump.

Dolphins Continued• Dolphins have flukes. Flukes are tail

fins.

• Dolphins make lots of noises. Some are funny.

Sea Lions• Sea lions have flippers so they can

swim away from predators. They can walk on land with flippers, too.

Sea Lions

• The mother makes a loud bark to call her baby. Baby sea lions are called pups.

Sea Otters

• Sea otters like to back float. They like to sleep and eat on their backs.

• They crack shellfish against a rock which is on their chest. Then they eat the shellfish.
