SOCIAL HOUSINGSStudio Emmanuelle COLBOCSemester 1-M1 2011ENSA Paris-Belleville
Location: -Paris, rue Sorbier
Objectives: -Public park-Community living-Flat’s layout
Two main issues: the undulation of the site, and the mix between the private and the public by the presence of a park. I responded to these constraints by creating a pass whilst playing with the scales and the vo-lume: Front pads and ur-ban master plan.

The waterfront development to re-connect DUNDEE city centre with the Tay is one of the most notable thinking projects in Scotland today. The WATERFRONT redevelopment is a long-term project but already the landscape of the city is beginning to change. The site of this project presents a lot of quality: views, orientation, spaces…but it was necessary to consider all the PUBLIC space, in the aim to build a new MUSEUM in Dundee. A project in relation with people, city and memory.

FILTER FACADE

The museum is a MECANISM with which to structure and organize the architecture itself. It is an AUTONOMOUS architectural system in levitation. Its cir-culations, created as a WAVE off a special relationship to water, and the landscape

The site of this project presents a lot of quality: views, orientation, spaces…but it was necessary to consider all the PUBLIC space, in the aim to build a new MUSEUM in Dundee. A project in relation with people, city and memory.
Its principle of formation is a continuation of the archipelago in-side the museum itself: the objects interact with each other, totally free. The aggregation of the small entities forms a HOMOGENEOUS whole with a simple geometry, and all this mechanism is protected by an ENVELOPE formed by the filter facade, which regulate the lighting of the exhibitions spaces.
