• Bayhead Satellite Campus is 100% ready - partner Royal IHC Merwede.
• Equipment installation has been concluded by Royal IHC Merwede.
• Train-the-Trainer by Royal IHC Merwede commenced in April 2017 in Rotterdam and is currently being concluded in Durban.
• Dredging School is planned to open in early 2018 (Accreditation is being finalised)

• Worked with schools in and around Durban, since 2013 in collaboration with DBE, SETAs, Agencies including NGO/NPO.
• Collaboration with EThekwini Maritime Cluster (EMC) for school seminars and workshops for both teachers and learners. Over 10 000 learners have been briefed by the MSoE in Careers at Sea over the past four years; in the form of Maritime career exhibitions and the like;
• At present the Transport Education and Training Authority has sponsored projects for TVET colleges, e.g. SSACI-TETA flagship project;
• A combination of lectures and excursions within the port and terminals are undertaken in collaboration with Transnet Corporate Affairs.
