MassportisoneofthelargestseaportsontheEasternseaboard.In2013,Massportmarinefacilitiesprocessedmorethan382,000cruisepassengers,51,000automobiles,and193,000TEUsofcontainerizedcargo.MassportishostingregisteredattendeesofMaritimeSecurity2014Eastonauniquesecuritytourthatwillhighlighttheport'ssecuritytechnologiesandbestpractices.TourgroupswilldepartbycoachfromtheBostonMarriottBurlington(conferencevenue)onMarch10at12:15PMand2:45PM.Eachgroupislimitedto50people.Reservationstosecurespaceonthesecuritytourarerequired,andallparticipantswillbevettedbyMassport.
SecuritytourspaceisrestrictedtoconfirmedregistrantsofMaritimeSecurity2014Eastonly.Tourisincludedwithregistration/exhibitionfees.

TheSmallVesselReportingSystem(SVRS)isavoluntary,onlineprogramforpleasurevesseloperatorsandpassengers(participants)toreporttheirarrivalfromforeign.ToenrollintheSVRSprogram,participantsmustfirstcompleteanonlineapplicationandthen,inmostcases,completeaninpersoninterviewwithaCBPofficer.Duringtheinterview,theCBPofficerwillverifytheinformationprovidedand,ifneeded,captureadigitalphotographandfingerprints.Onceenrolled,participantsareabletosubmitfloatplansfortheirintendedpleasurevesseltravelonline.ByenrollinginSVRSandprovidingfloatplanoritineraryinformationinadvance,participantswillgenerallyreceiveexpeditedprocessingwhentheyreportanarrivalintheUnitedStatesfromaforeignlocationandmaynotberequiredtoappearinpersonforafacetofaceinspectionbyCBPofficerseachtimetheyentertheUnitedStates.
