Using Public Networks

• Exploit the $Billions invested into public networks for rail operations

• Public networks provide robust services for carriage of train control data

• Minimises the need for field infrastructure

• Reduced through life cost

• Network upgrade costs are with the carrier

Some 90 ‘rail’ sites installed

All sites are part of the Telstra Network and therefore are spt’d by Telstra
