The loca*on is: Churchill Recrea*on Center 6906 Churchill Way Dallas Texas 75230 214-670-6477 Our monthly mee*ngs will now be held on the second Monday of each month. For 2020 the dates are: March 9th April 13th May 11th June 8th July 13th August 10th September 14th October 12th November 9th I believe we will all appreciate the atmosphere of this facility. Wifi is available and there is a large drop down screen for showing presenta2ons, slideshows or even movies. The tables and chairs can be set up however we want. There is plenty of parking including an overflow parking area just a few steps down from the main parking lot. The staff seems very nice and very helpful. Please give them your respect and apprecia2on at all 2mes. There are some rules for use of the rec center that everyone must respect. Room rental 2me is for 2 hours, 6:30 - 8:30 PM only and that includes the necessary 2me required for room set-up and clean up. Food is allowed but all items brought in must be removed. No alcohol or gambling inside or outside the building. Kitchen privileges are available for an extra charge per hour. We do not have kitchen privileges unless we reserve in advance. If you arrive early please stay outside the room un2l 6:30. There is a nice pa2o that can be used prior to the mee2ng. Room set-up and clean up are the responsibility of the group. Everyone must exit the room by 8:30 and the room must be leS clean, tables and chairs put away and trash removed. Hike rescheduled for Saturday, March 14, 10:00 AM at Cedar Ridge The Cedar Ridge Nature Preserve is a scenic, rich in wildlife, slice of hill country. Formerly the Dallas Nature Center, the preserve spans 600 acres between Mountain Creek Parkway and FM 1382, a short 20 minutes from downtown Dallas. The natural habitat is jointly owned by the City of Dallas and Dallas County and features na2ve trees, grasses, and wildflowers, displaying the natural beauty of the area.
