Last month was Black History Month and once again thanks to our amazing staff and administraon here at IMS we did not sit at the back of the bus! Every Friday morning during the morning news Dr. Wood with the assistance of Mr. Jensen presented a Black History moment to the students. Mr. Nemeth presented Dr. Wood and Mr. Jensen with a cerficate of honor for their efforts towards celebrang and educang our students about Black History Month. Thanks for such an awesome job!!!!!! Suicide is a subject that needs to be talked about as oſten as possible. Too many young lives are lost because of the feeling, there is nothing that can be done about my problems or situaons . That is not true! You might feel that way but once again thinking that there is no one who you can turn to is not true. Find a trusted friend, teacher or counselor or call the Naonal Suicide Hotline at 1 800 273 8255. If you are worried about a loved one, a friend, or thinking about suicide please talk to someone or call that number. True friends help in me of need and seek the right help for their friends and loved ones. Congratulaons to Ms. Wheelers art students for making this wonderful poster! Suicide is not a problem solver. Lessons will be provided by experts in the field and will showcase local venues and opportunies. Students in Ms. Weekss, Mr. Srameks, and Ms. Tropenbaums classes visited IHS for a Special Olympics campaign geared at reminding the world of inclusivity for all. Students made banners and walked the track in order to help spread the word. Congratulaon to all of our students for their hard work. Special Olympics Virtual Field 3D/2D club is a specialized program that meets Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday aſter school. Student are instructed in how to use a CADD program to create their own designs and print out a 3D model. Lead by Mr. Fernando and Mr. Anderson. A reminder to all migrant students, the Migrant Center is open from 8:15 am — 8:55 am for tutoring, to work on projects, or to pick up supplies. Reach out to Mrs. Ramirez, Mr. Buddle, or Mr. Joseph to schedule a me to get tutoring support. Eight grade Migrant Students started their new jobs with Earn & Learn. 3D / 2D Club

Students will participate in virtual hands on lessons focused on sports offered in special Olympics. Lessons will be provided by experts in the field and will showcase local venues and opportunities.

Students in Ms. Weeks’s, Mr. Sramek’s, and Ms. Tropenbaum’s classes visited IHS for a Special Olympics campaign geared at reminding the world of inclusivity for all. Students made banners and walked the track in order to help spread the word. Congratulation to all of our students for their hard work.

IMS es una escuela que celebra su población diversa. El mes pasado fue el

Mes de Black History y, una vez más, gracias a nuestro increíble personal y administración aquí en IMS, ¡no nos sentamos en la parte trasera del autobús! Todos los viernes por la mañana durante las noticias de la mañana, la Dr. Wood con la ayuda del Sr. Jensen presentó un momento de Black History a los estudiantes. Encuentre un amigo, maestro o consejero de confianza o llame a la Línea Nacional de Suicidio al 1 800 273 8255. Si está preocupado por un ser querido, un amigo o está pensando en suicidarse, hable con alguien o llame a ese número. Los verdaderos amigos ayudan en momentos de necesidad y buscan la ayuda adecuada para sus amigos y seres queridos. ¡Felicitaciones a los estudiantes de arte de la Sra. Los estudiantes participarán en lecciones prácticas virtuales centradas en los deportes que se ofrecen en las Olimpiadas especiales. Las lecciones serán proporcionadas por expertos en el campo y presentará lugares y oportunidades locales.

Los estudiantes de las clases de la Sra. Weeks, el Sr. Sramek y la Sra. Tropenbaum visitaron IHS para una campaña de Olimpiadas Especiales orientada a recordarle al mundo la inclusión para todos. Los estudiantes hicieron pancartas y caminaron por la pista para ayudar a difundir el mensaje. Felicitaciones a todos nuestros estudiantes por su arduo trabajo.
