Mark Zuckerberg is the co-founder of the well-known social network called Facebook. He began learning programming and writing software in middle school. By the time he finished high school his tutor was calling him a “progidy” saying that it was hard to stay ahead of him. During high school he wrote a programmed called “ZuckNet” for his father’s dental business, it allowed computers to connect to the dental office and communicate with each other. This software was considered the first Instant Messenger application.

Later on Mark attended Harvard where he started developing softwares for his fraternity, first one being Course Match, which allowed users to make class selection decisions based on the choices of other students and help them to form study groups.

Another program that he later created for fun was Facemash, this software would let the students select the best looking person from a choice of photos. The site went up over the weekend and was take down by Monday morning, because the popularity overwhelmed Harvard’s servers.

The nest year Zuckerberg began writing code for the new website. On February 4, 2004. TheFacebook was launched. The website was designed for Harvard students but later it became public for the entire world, Mark dropped out of Harvard to complete the website.

Now his personal wealth is estimated to be 38,6$ billion. Mark receives one dollar salary as the CEO of Facebook.

Facebook currently has 1.8 billion unique users active per month every 20 min on Facebook 1 million links are shared, 2 million friends are requested and 3 million messages are sent. Facebook became the largest company after Google and Samsung it has an estimated profit of 12.466$ billion.
