Q&A

FAQ/Follow Up

Q)  Can you help me locate the file that contains the current list of Source/Sink names & identifiers?

A) You can access the Source/Sink data used for each auction/allocation  by logging onto the CRR application with your account holder ID (ending in 5000) then navigating to downloads>Common/Market and selecting the Market Tab, then select the market type, term market and calendar period (if applicable) from the pull down menus.

Q) Where can I get a list of NERC Holidays for 2011-2012? I’ll need to know if any fall on a weekend.

A) We get our information for NERC holidays directly from the NERC website:  www.nerc.com/docs/oc/rs/Additional_Off-peak_Days.doc. NERC adds the day of the week, so you can easily determine the day on which the holiday falls.

Q) I am trying to nominate my PCRR’s for the 2011 Annual PCRRAllocation and I am getting an error. It worked just fine for Jan – Apr, but it won’t let me save the files for May-Dec. I am submitting the same entry into every selection and have tried several different months.

A) For annual allocations, the system does not allow NOIEs to violate the 40% Capacity rule. If you are able to upload some months but not all, check the summary table to determine if the new entries for May-Dec would exceed the remaining capacity factor.
