Overview

The goLOCAL campaign is all about showcasing the talented Ontario winemakers who are passionate about the wines they produce . We are going to show customers:

The best local products to serve at their occasions . •The phenomenal range of styles that result from Ontario’s cool climate and unique •terroirs . Theenvironmentalbenefitofbuyinglocallyproducedproducts.•

During the goLOCAL thematic promotion, a series of four staff tastings have been planned – in addition to the Staff Picks program – one per week throughout the promotional period . This is a great opportunity to engage staff and help them feel comfortable recommending Ontario wines . Retail’s overwhelming support of last year’s goLOCAL promotion resulted in sales far beyond forecasted projections . We are hoping that this year’s campaign will be as successful .

P7 Music

Jazz and wine are the perfect partners and P7, “goLOCAL” mixes the best in jazz and pop standards . For the enjoyment of the true jazz lover and all those jazz wannabes out there, we feature the icons of jazz; Sarah, Billie, Louis, Ella and a whole host of young and exceptional jazz talent from around the world and right here at home .

Avoid spreading products over the entire table . •Too many facings of the same product will make the display seem cluttered, dulling the impact of the products being promoted .By following the basic principle of ‘• like product with like product’, you will accomplish a themed, fully stockedandcustomer-friendlyfixture.Remember to consider the colour, size and type when •building your display .Placing complementary colours next to each other also •enhances the look of the display . Items on the Display Tables should not ‘compete’ with each other .

Nesting Table Baskets

All nesting tables must have a basket on each corner •of the table . Select one product to merchandise in each basket complementing the theme . Sign the product with metal sign holders and black sign inserts .Each medium sized basket holds two cases of 750 mL •product or one case of 1000 mL /1500 mL product .
