Having Too Many Options To Choose From Has Two NEGATIVE Effects:
1 It, paradoxically, produces paralysis rather than
liberation. With so many options, people find it very difficult to choose at all.
2 The second effect is that even if we manage to
overcome the paralysis and make a choise we end up less satisfied with the result of the choice than we would be if we had fewer options to choose from.
you may make the best decision ever but you
probably will feel worse. It is because,
your expectations went up. *
Adding options in peoples life cant help but increase the expectations people
have about how good those options will be.
You hear that recently?..You can have done
better!
Inner Voice Says:With a hundred different kinds of jeans on display,
there is no excuse for failure!
Simply saying,Everything was better back when everything
was worse.
Why? “ Because, it was actually
possible for people to have experiences that were a
pleasant surprise“
The secret to satisfaction is
low expectations!
