I STUDIED AT THE UNIVERSITY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF KWAZULU-NATAL, DURBAN CAMPUS WHERE I COMPLETED A
BACHELOR OF SOCIAL SCIENCE DEGREE IN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND GEOGRAPHY. I THEN WENT ON TO DO A
POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN TOURISM AND MANAGEMENT AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CAPE TOWN IN 2006
I OBTAINED A POSITION AT PHINDA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE AT THE BEGINNING OF 2007 AND SPENT A YEAR THERE AS A
CAMP MANAGER. I THEN MOVED TO SINGITA PRIVATE GAME RESERVE AS A LODGE ANCHOR.
I LEFT SOUTH AFRICA IN FEB 2009 TO TRAVEL AND WORK AROUND EUROPE AND THE UK, RETURNING AT THE END OF
2009.
I STARTED WORK FOR SANYATI AT THE BEGINNING OF 2010 ON THE N11 BERGVILLE INTERCHANGE PROJECT AS THE
SITE ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER. IN MARCH 2011 I WAS PROMOTED TO ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGER FOR SANYATI
COASTAL, A DIVISION OF SANYATI HOLDINGS. I WAS MADE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT ON ALL
THE SITES WITHIN COASTAL DIVISION, COVERING ALL OF KZN AND PARTS OF THE EASTERN CAPE
