I have collected a few piece of work for your child to complete at home this

week. Each week a new set of activities will be uploaded to the website.

These pieces of work are based on our topic this term ‘How far can we go’. It is

all about how our body works, physical movement healthy eating and sports.

These activities are for you to enjoy with your child and there are a range of

activities for different abilities. Please choose the activities that are best

suited to your child

Activity 1 Labelling the body

Task - Can you write the correct names of each of the body parts?

Activity 2 The Human Body

We are going to look at how the human body moves and why healthy eating and

exercise are important

The body is made up of bones and muscles. The bones give your body it’s

structure, allow us to move and protects your body.

Can you feel any bones in your body?

Task 1

1. Can you try and name 5 of your bones? Once you have done that you can

check if you are correct using the labelled diagram?

Task 2 - Can you cut out the bones and build your own skeleton?

flip diagram to learn the different bones
