LINKThats all I have to say about his life and career.Lets talk about his techniques and artistic process.

First of all, Lukas Bischoff specially focuses on the content in order to make interesting art pieces. He digs into a theme and understands it. He thinks that is the best approach in the world of art and design. Then he starts with some doodles. And finally develops some of the ideas that suit the best to his project.

For his digital paintings, he uses Photoshop.8

As you can see, he uses a wide range of colours in order to have a colour-rich image and therefore, visually more attractive.

This is the last example of his digital painting technique.I found it specially interesting in order to show you his process.

As you can see he uses an sketch in black and white. Then he adds different colour layers. And finally he adds some details and textures.10

LINKAfter the digital painting, I want to show some vector illustrations.

These are an excellent example of his knowledge on Illustrator.11

Now I want you to watch this video. Its a kind of speed painting made with Illustrator.

VIDEOAs you can see:Firstly, he amazingly creates different forms. On the right side, you can see that he divides the drawing in just seven layers: line, colour, shades, lights, sketch and colour palette. Then, he adds colour according to his reference. He draws some details. And finally he tests some texture in order to avoid solid plain colours. 12

| TechniquesDigital PaintingVector IllustrationWatercoloursInk | INKtober

These are several of his work for the 2015 INKtober

As he explains: Every October artists all over the world take on the INKtober drawing challenge and do one ink drawing per day.

This series are a great excuse for the artist to explore the technique and also it is a great opportunity to create new illustrations to include in his portfolio.16

| TechniquesDigital PaintingVector IllustrationWatercoloursInk | INKtober

As you can see, in this series of illustrations, he focuses on the study of the objects. He highlights the shape of the objects with a subtle high key, barely monochromatic.

17

In this illustration, as well as in the first one, you can see the way he uses exploded axonometric perspective in order to give tension to apparently ordinary objects, such as garden scissors cutting a leaf.

By the way, the word Minze means mint in German.18

It is designed so that you can have an overview of all the things he can do and if you are interested in one specifically, you can just click on it.20

RECAPIn conclusion I would like to say that

WHAT & HOWthe artwork I have shown you in this presentation demonstrates the quality and variety of Lukas Bischoff creations.

SHORT CONCLUSIONI think it is always good to know about other artists creative processes and techniques as a source of inspiration.Personally, I find specially interesting the INKtober challenge. And I argue to all of us, including myself to take the challenge for the next INKtober of this year 2016.21
