Our marqueesWe supply frame and traditional stylemarquees. Frame tents are supported by analuminium skeleton around the edge whichmeans more clear space inside the marquee.Traditional style marquees have poles and roofswith swooping curves.

Our marquees come in 4m, 6m, 9m, 12m and15m widths and are as long as you like. Theycan be lined, swagged, striped, blacked-out...decorated in the style or theme of your choice.

All our marquees are made from flame-retardant PVC manufactured to the latest BSIstandards.

Information sheet

County Marquees: was founded in 1989 and specialises in the supply and hire of

marquees and ancillary equipment for weddings, corporate parties, bar/batmitzvahs,

anniversaries and other outdoor events.

We are an independent family company dedicated to the satisfaction of our customers.

This information sheet briefly describes the type of equipment we can provide. We

hope it will enable you to decide whether we can be of service to you.

Marquees: We provide free-standing framed marquees manufactured in accordance

with BS 5438. These marquees are 10'(3m), 14'(4m), 20'(6m), 30'(9m), 40'(12m),

50'(15m) wide and can be as long as you like. All our marquees are white and have a

simple classical design. The larger marquees are 7' 3"(2.3m) at the eave and rise to

12Â’ 6"(3.9m) at the apex. All the side walls on our marquees can be easily opened

should weather permit.

Interior linings: These are an essential part of the decoration of a marquee for

weddings and most parties. County Marquees provide flat or pleated ivory roof linings

with pleated ivory walls. The overall effect is simple and elegant.

The ivory background can be set off with coloured pelmets along the eave, or with

coloured stripes across the roof. Linings are particularly striking when combined with

either floral schemes, inventive lighting or balloons. All our linings are flame resistant

and manufactured according to BS 5867 Pt 2 and BS 5438.

Interior lighting: We have three basic styles of lighting:

Overhead lighting using candelabras with dimmers - 8 branch

candelabras giving off 480 Watts per candelabra. These provide a

good, clean overhead light.

Uplighters - placed around the borders of the marquee. These give

a 100 Watt wash of diffused light onto both side walls and roof

linings. This type of lighting helps to create a relaxed party

atmosphere.

500 Watt Parcans with coloured gels and down-lighters or pin-spots

as a further option. This distinctive style of lighting combines with the

ivory lining to produce a colourful and memorable effect.

We also have garden spotlights, festoon lighting, lanterns of various kinds and ever-

popular starcloth linings. We are always interested in fulfilling different lighting

requirements as the need arises.

Coconut Matting: The most popular choice for flooring is 12mm thick rolls of striped

coconut matting put down over a waterproof plastic ground sheet. We ensure that our

matting is well fixed down with 6" nails at each end and along the length of the mat.

Hard flooring: Where the ground is rough or has a tendency to waterlogging, County

Marquees provides a raised interlocking hard floor. Because all the wooden sections

lock together, individual pieces do not become separated. Hard flooring can be

covered with either coconut matting or carpet.

Dance floors: Rosewood coloured dance floors with tapered edging which can be built

to your requirements. Alternatively we can provide white, white starlight, black and

white or parquet dance floors.

Chiavari chairs: Fashionable wooden chairs with an antiqued limewashed look in

white and other colours

Bistro chairs: Comfortable and sturdy white plastic chairs with fluted backs. Stackable

and lightweight.

Gilt chairs: Standard banqueting chairs with seat pads to match a given colour

scheme.

Trestle tables: Wooden trestle tables 6' long and 2'3" wide for catering, presenting a

buffet or making a top table.

Round tables: Round tables of various dimensions (6', 5' 6 , 5', 4', 3') to suit your
