Martin Luther King was born on January, 15 in 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia.
He studied at the Morehouse College and he became minister. He was a pastor too.
Martin married with Correta Scott King and they had 4 children.
Mr. King given his famous speech « I have a dream » in Washington DC in 1963 at the Lincoln Memorial. He wanted equality between black and white and he fought for the end of the segregation.
M. Luther King received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.
Martin Luther King day is celebreted on January, 15, the day of his birthday.
Martin Luther King was assassinated in 1968 on April,4 in Memphis, Tennessee. Coretta Scott King, his wife died on January, 30, 2006. Their tomb is on a fountain.
