Our Madrid Office covers the Iberian peninsula: - GM (based in London) + 2 staff
- supporting Marubeni’s activities across all sectors
Power (TrustEnergy) : 50% share in thermal and renewable power assets in Portugal acquired from GDF Suez
(now ENGIE) in October 2013. (Generation capacity of whole portfolio: 3,300MW)
Water (AGS) : acquisition of water services company AGS - Administração e Gestão de Sistemas de Salubridade, S.A.
together with Innovation Network Corporation of Japan (INCJ) in June 2014. (Supplying population of 1.5m.)
Gas (GGND) : acquisition of 22.5% share of Galp Energia’s gas distribution company Galp Gás Natural Distribuição, S.A.
(GGND) together with Toho Gas in October 2016. (Distributing gas to 1.05m. households, with 70% market share)
