SAFE RESPECTFUL RESPONSIBLE
Day for Daniel
Last Friday we held our day to recognise ‘Day for Daniel’.
Thankyou to everyone who participated. We are happy to
announce a total of $99.05 has been donated to The Daniel
Morcombe Foundation on behalf of Marulan PS.
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Day
Thankyou to the P&C for organising the Teacher and Staff Appreciation
day yesterday. Students had a great time dressing up as teachers and
teachers also had a great time dressing up as students. Staff greatly ap-
preciated the luncheon that was supplied.
The Big Read Bus
A reminder for parents and students that The Big Read
Bus will be visiting tomorrow. If you have any Goulburn
Mulwaree Council library books, you are able to return
them to the bus. If students are wanting to borrow, they will need to be a
member of the GMC library.
Selective High School 2021
If you would like to apply to have your child considered for Year 7 selec-
tive high school entry in 2021 (students currently in Year 5), please contact
the office to obtain more information. Applications close on Monday No-
vember 11 2019.
Swim School
Over the next 2 weeks, students in Years 2-6 will attend the annual NSW
School Swimming program. This program is intended for students who
cannot confidently swim 25 metres in deep water. If your child is attend-
ing, please ensure they bring their swimmers, towel, sunscreen, hat and a
plastic bag everyday. Please clearly label all items with your child’s name.
New Signs
You may have noticed some new signs throughout
our school. Last week Studio 4 delivered
and installed our new signs to make our
school a more inviting and colourful ar-
ea. We have also had our electronic sign
installed and can not wait to get it up
and running!
Year 5-6 Camp
On Monday some of our students from Years 5-6 will be attending Camp
at Berry Sport and Recreation Centre. If your child is attending please en-
sure they arrive at school no later then 8.30am for an on time departure.
Book Club reminder
Book Club provides families with an affordable and convenient way to
bring the best children’s literature into their homes. Book Club orders close

P&C ASSOCIATION NEWS
Pre-orders closed yesterday for the Halloween Party this Thursday 31 October 2019.
Held in the Marulan Community Hall, Tony Onions Park from 5pm to 7pm.
Reminder entry to the Halloween Party is $2 with which each person will receive a glow
stick. Food will be served at 5pm so when you arrive please be ready to grab your pre-
ordered pizza, popper and treat bag then dance, jump, twist and wiggle the night
away on the dance floor and try out some of the themed games. Reminder children
need to be accompanied by an adult. Adults are encouraged to dress up for the
night as well. A number of businesses in town will be open and available for trick or
treating or special deals.

We are very excited to announce our MEGA CHRISTMAS RAFFLE!! Tickets will be
available at the front office of the school Friday 1 November 2019 and throughout

als for the raffle. There truly is something for everyone. The raffle will be drawn Friday
