Mary Kay Wisdom “Seminar”

Remember that first seminar, we decorated that empty warehouse – and it was empty. We didn’t have any bins or any shelves or anything in

there for a long time.

One day I said to Ben, “For goodness’ sakes, Ben. Buy some bins or something and make this thing look like a warehouse. It’s just an empty space.” We put some shelves on one wall – and I guess it was a wall about ten by six feet, we put everything we had, our

entire inventory, on those shelves. And then, because we didn’t want the people to take our

inventory away, we covered it with butcher paper that day.

We all blew up balloons and hung crepe paper. It wasn’t a high budget, but it was a start on things to come. On the day of our Seminar, I unfroze all this stuff and I changed clothes three times. I worked in

the kitchen all day, and changed into my first Seminar gown. Then, when everybody left, I changed clothes

again to clean it all up. From the very beginning, I have felt that, somehow or

another, we have to reward people for their efforts.

At least $14,000 wholesale production must come from your DIQ unit members. •As a DIQ, you may contribute up to $4,000 in personal wholesale Section 1 production toward the $18,000 cumulative whole sale unit production during the qualification period. •Minimum $4,000 wholesale unit production each month, even if the $18,000 cumulative wholesale unit production has already been reached. •At least $1,800 in personal cumulative wholesale production. •At least 24 active unit members (includes the DIQ), •At least 10 of the 24 active unit members must have at least $600 in cumulative wholesale production (does not include the DIQ ) during the qualification period.
