Maryam Maleki is an associate in the San Francisco office of Manning & Kass, where shespecializes in employment litigation, handling cases from inception through resolution.

Ms. Maleki received her JD from New York Law School, where she was the recipient ofOrder of the Barristers and the Moot Court award. Throughout her career, Ms. Maleki hasfocused her practice on various labor and employment issues. She handles litigatedmatters from inception to verdict and has experience on the issues of wrongfultermination, race, religion and national origin discrimination, sexual harassment, gender,age and disability discrimination, wage & hour, defamation, and whistleblower claims. Herpractice also includes counseling of employers regarding employment practices includingleave issues, wage & hour disputes, discrimination, ADA and FEHA claims, among others.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Maleki served as in house counsel in Los Angeles, specializingin advising senior management, investigating employee claims of discrimination andharassment, and maintaining compliance with state and federal employment laws. Beforethis, Ms. Maleki worked at a boutique employment defense firm, representing employersnationwide. While obtaining her law degree, Ms. Maleki received awards for Best Oralist inNational Moot Court Competition as well as the Moot Court Award. She also served asStudent Bar Association vice president resident during her second year of law school. Ms.Maleki is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association and the Iranian American BarAssociation. She is fluent in Farsi.
