IntroductionHello,
My name is Marybeth Wallace. I have taught both First Grade and Kindergarten for the pass ten years. Prior to teaching, I was a R.N. for twenty- five years. What can I say... I love learning new things!
I teach Kindergarten in Maynard, MA. Yes, where the "Journey" begins! Last year, I was a student in the MA RETELL SEI (Sheltered English Immersion) Pilot Program. It was fun being a student and learning new ELL strategies, so I thought; why not continue my own educational journey this year. I enrolled in the Literacy CAGS because I believe, if you can read and write your dreams can come true. I want to be the best Literacy Teacher that I can be in order to empower my five and six year olds with the tools they need to become strong readers and writers.
Enjoy the last days of summer. I look forward to learning with and from all of you.
Take care,
Marybeth
My favorite thing in the whole wide world to do is spend time with my four children James, Christine, Katelynn, and Mike!
James is a third year Surgical Resident at Balboa Naval Hospital in Calf. In his “spare time” he loves to go fishing.
Christine is a Fourth Grade Teacher in Shirley, MA. doing what teachers’ love to do over the Summer: read at the beach!
Here are my two terrific children by marriage. I always wanted four children: two boys and two girls, and now I have them!
Katelynn is a Sixth Grade Teacher. She teaches at a school for the Performing Arts. She recently sang is a school talent show with one of her students! She loves animals. Peter is my grand- dog.
Dr. Mike is an Astrophysicist . When he’s not doing research, writing papers, or giving presentations; he enjoys narrating theater productions like “Rocky Horror”!
