The Master of Science in Health Promotion Management helps students explore both the why and the how of health behavior. The program aims to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills to function effectively as health educators who design, implement, manage, and evaluate health promotion and wellness programs in diverse settings - the workplace, schools, hospitals, and the community.

Health Promotion Management (M.S.) Graduate Program Option

The Health Promotion Management program isdesigned around competencies for graduate-levelhealth educators, which were developed by AAHE,SOPHE, and NCHEC. The degree is different than aMaster of Public Health (MPH) in that the HPMprogram does not require coursework inenvironmental health and focuses less onbiostatistics. However, there are many similarities between people who have a MPH and those whohave a MS in HPM.
