It was grown in Fujisaki,
Aomori, Japan in the late
1930s and brought to
market in 1962
It originates from the two
apples Red Delicious and
Virginia Ralls Genet
It is named after its home-
town in Fujisaki, but is of-
ten mistakenly thought to
be named after Mount Fuji

crispier than many other apple varieties

yellow-green background
The History Of TheUnique Fuji
Tasty for a snack and even for making
pies!
What I thought About
FujiIt had all the components a
great fruit should have It had on a scale of 1-4 it
had 4 on Juiciness, Crispi-
ness and Sweetness On a scale of 1-4 it had 2
on Tartness not too sour, but
just right Over all this apple should be
everyones favorite
This is my all time favorite apple! Sweet,
crunchy, yummy! One HUGE benefit I
have enjoyed is that one Fuji apple at
night after dinner has given me relief from
acid reflux.. -Judy, GA, United States on
