Guest Speaker
Bill Phippen will be our guest speaker before the August 14th membership meeting. Bill will inform us on the activities of Boy Scout Troop 100, physically and mentally impaired scouts. Our council has donated to Troop 100 for several years through the MI Tootsie Roll Drive.
Council & Auxiliary Family Picnic
Please mark Sunday, August 13 on your calendar for our annual joint family picnic in Marysville Park. This is a good time to invite potential new members and their families to come out and socialize. All the action starts at noon and goes to 5. Just bring a dish to pass, your place setting and a chair – the meat and beverages will be provided. We will be at pavilion number 4 in the park across from the train.
If you can help out please contact Rick Goodmen for details on the project.
“Food, Fun, Friends!” featuring the St. Clair County’s Best Dessert Contest
The fun begins with strolling
dinner appetizers, wine grab,
raffles, live auction, cash bar,
live entertainment and much
more! Come help us pick the
people’s favorite dessert from
one of our many fine chefs in St.
Clair County. Proceeds will be
directed to Catholic Charities’
Family Counseling programs
serving families in St. Clair
County. Our goal is to raise
$20,000 and we are looking for
your help to reach this goal.
The event will be held on Thursday, August 17, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Alexander’s Premier Banquet Facility, 1195 Gratiot Blvd. in Marysville. Admission is free, but tickets are required. Please RSVP by calling (810) 987-9100 or visit the office at 2601 Thirteenth Street, Port Huron.
Fund Raiser
Brother Knight Kelli Voight’s son is raising money for his eagle scout project by having a spaghetti dinner on Thursday, August 3 from 4 to 7 pm (free offering). Come on down to the hall and enjoy a wonderful Italian dinner and help out a young man in achieving his goal.
3rd Annual Greg White
