cooking oil.
Paper goods: Dish detergent, laundry deter-
gent, toothpaste, deodorant, shaving razors,
shaving cream, shampoo/conditioner, bath
soap and Toilet Paper
Grocery or Wal-Mart Gift cards for per-
ishables.
Please place all items in the Outreach Box in
the Narthex or the Northwest Foyer. Please
check expiration dates on food as expired food

St. Francis Preschool will be having a silent
auction for Catholic Schools Week. The items
will be on display before and after the Masses
January 23th through 31st for you to view and
bid on. The Auction will close on Tuesday, February 2nd at the
Preschool’s Catholic School Week Coffee. The coffee will be
at 9:00am in the Parish Hall. The proceeds will benefit the pre-

Sacramental Prep- If you are in high school or middle
school and need Baptism, First Communion, or Reconcilia-
tion preparation, please attend our Sacramental Prep class
5-6:30pm the first Tuesday of every month Sept - April at the
Church.
Confirmation classes have begun and registration is
closed. Don’t forget these dates for Confirmation class. On
weeks when there is Confirmation class, students are not
required to attend Young Church on Sunday night.

as part of the ‘Literature as Prophecy’ class we will be
doing so! In 4 weeks Dr. Robert Alexander will be offer-
ing a course diving through one of the most influential
pieces of literature in Christianity, The Divine Comedy
by Dante Alighieri. Starting with the Inferno, then Pur-
gatorio, all the way to Paradiso, find out why this work
has changed the minds and hearts of so many
throughout the centuries.

padres tienen que ser católicos practicantes, es decir,
que han sido bautizados, confirmados, reciben comu-
nión, son casados por la iglesia, y asisten a Misa cada
Domingo, no hay excepciones. Para registrarse por

Bautizos en Español solo se llevarán acabo el cuarto
sábado del mes a las 10am en la Iglesia. Ya no ten-

importante y conectada. Así también los miembros

vida nacida o no nacida, al prójimo que también pue-
de ser refugiado, a los amigos y aun a los enemigos.

St. Francis of Assisi Grief Ministry The St. Francis Grief Ministry provides prayer and com-
fort to those faced with the end of life of a loved one.
We offer confidential support to those in grief. Please

Scout Sunday is observed nationwide on February
7th. All Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Adult Scouts, Ven-
turers, Cub Scouts, Webelos Scouts, Campfire,
American Heritage Girls, and their leaders are in-
vited to attend the 10 A.M. mass on that
date. Please wear your Scout uniform. Scouts
will be acknowledged at that mass.
St. Francis is now an official parish hosting a local Ches-
terton Society Chapter here in Grapevine! The society
will meet once a month on the 4th Monday of each
month at the Grapevine Craft Brewery to discuss G.K.
Chesterton and enjoy a good brew. For more informa-
